IND & CAR ruined what would’ve been a perfect Sunday. Scam Newton played like I feel he should play every time against a so-so WAS “D”, while IND was on the doorstep of victory but Luck cannot throw & catch the ball, so they lost. I am whining tho, as POW hit w/little issue as did SEA, DEN & my teaser.
Regular Season POW 4-2, Teasers 4-2, GOY 0-0, Overall 16-14 (17-14 undocumented).
DAL -1 absolutely destroyed JAX @ DAL last wk & a lot of people took notice. This line started @ WAS -2 ½ & now sits @ WAS being a home dog. Ouch. I loved this gm early & regret not jumping on it when I had a chance. Thus, I’ve lessened my units but still believe the Cowgirls are the rt play here. DAL has won 4 straight meetings with WAS & 8 of the last 10. Dak is 4-0 SU vs WAS & helped DAL to 14 & 5 pt victories @ WAS the last 2 yrs. Obviously DAL’s recent dominance over WAS isn’t all Dak. Elliott has been fantastic against the Skins, rushing for 233 yds & 3 TDs @ WAS. Rod Marinelli’s group has been great too, getting into WAS’ backfield & forcing TOs. Getting “D” captain Sean Lee back is huge for DAL, even tho the LBs that have filled the void during his injury have vastly improved. So now DAL’s “D” is deep & playing well together. Not a good formula for Alex Smith, who is still struggling w/Gruden’s “O”, losing WRs, dealing w/a shuffling oline & having every RB they’ve had this season looking like a MASH unit. Both teams are off very good wins, however DAL is 1 gm behind WAS & should see this as their chance to catch WAS early in the yr. If Dak continues to run & hook up w/Beasley down the middle, this should be an easy win for DAL.
