For a min, I thought I had cursed my team by taking them as my POW. Thankfully Jason Sanders, who I was highly critical of the past 2 seasons, went 5-5 on FGs, including 2 from 50+. What a great team win by MIA. I was very impressed (actually frustrated) by Dak’s ability to survive sacks & extend plays throughout the gm. He really stepped up to almost pull out the win. On the opposite side of the clutch spectrum, Jake Browning, Nick Mullens & Brock Purdy all personally torpedoed their respective teams in critical gms to give me 3 unnecessary losses (all 3 would have won if not for their awful INTs & overall play). And Minshew definitely missed Pittman as IND gets blown out by lowly ATL to blow up my Teaser. LAC & BUF made me look like a genius in their Sat tilt as BUF was incredibly lucky to come away w/a win there. At the last min, I took CLE -3 ½ over HOU, which will go into my undocumented record. CLE hit for me again Thurs over the lowly Jets.

Regular Season POW 6-10, Teasers 7-12, GOY 1-0, Overall 37-45-2 (40-45-2 Undocumented)

TB -2 ½
can clinch the South w/a win here against div rival NOR. TB won @ NOR 26-9 in Kamara’s return from suspension, where Baker went a healthy 25/32, 246 yds & 3 TDs. TB has looked very solid on both sides of the ball in their 4-gm win streak, that included JAX & GB. Oppositely, NOR has been beating up on the bad teams @ hm, & are currently 1-8 SU/ATS vs the teams above them. Carr has been his usual inconsistent self, so he could very well ball out here, but I’m not counting on it. I expect TB to pressure him to disrupt his rhythm, & Kamara didn’t practice Fri due to an illness, so if he plays it won’t be @ 100%. LB Barrett & CB Davis are out for TB, so NOR might be able to make hay there if TB’s great dline doesn’t get to Carr. Simply backing the hot team here, @ hm, who are also 3-0 SU (2-1 ATS) in the series. An odd scheduling quirk had NOR playing in a dome for 10 straight gms. So this will be their 1st outdoor gm since Wk 5 (2 ½ months ago) @ NE, where they did blow up the lowly Patsies 34-0 off 3 bad TOs from Mac Jones.

NOR 17
TB 27
5 Units

GL to all & comments are most welcome. Also, have a great & prosperous New Year.

Honorable Mentions:

1 Unit MIA +3 ½:
Huge matchup for the AFC @ BAL, where Lamar is the current poster boy for MVP. Normally that means he has a bad gm to follow. Reason why that can happen here is Fangio’s familiarity w/Lamar from his time in DEN, & MIA’s personnel containing Lamar for the most part in their last 2 gms (MIA won 22-10 & 42-38). What’s truly critical here for BAL is the potential losses of stud S Kyle Hamilton & starting CB Brandon Stephens. If both don’t play (neither practiced Fri), that would be a huge leveling factor w/Waddle out for MIA. LB Queen gave the MIA “O” great bulletin board matl by saying these cute “O”s can’t compete w/their physical “D”. I expect MIA’s oline & run gm to come highly motivated. If both DBs can’t go for BAL, I’ll likely add 2 more Units here.

1 Unit LAV +4: IND can clinch POs w/a win here, but they’ve really been struggling lately. Oppositely, LAV still has a shot @ POs & on a small 2-gm win streak. Antonio Pierce has this team playing hard, esp on “D”. I think that’s the difference here. IND will also be w/out DBs Blackmon & Moore, which should open things up for Davante Adams & Jakobi Meyers.

1 Unit ARI +12 ½: Big hunch here as former DC Jon Gannon returns to PHI to face his old team. He’ll be motivated to win here as the fanbase blasted him for talking w/ARI GM during SB wk, & the “D” giving up 17 pts to KC in 4th. It’s no secret that PHI has been sliding this month, so why not another close one in a non-marquee matchup?

1 Unit ATL/CHI Under 38: Cold, windy weather awaits the dome team ATL in this tilt between 2 very good “D”s & inconsistent “O”s. Both will try to establish the run gm & play field position, w/Heinicke being conservative to avoid TOs.

2 Unit Wormy Teaser

LAV +17

My heart couldn't take it Cash. But I was absolutely thrilled.

Ramsey will play. Everyone's dinged up, even Tua. Apparently he hurt his thumb in 1st Q vs DAL! That's amazing he threw as well as he did.
Dang love them picks yet again! gl my friend
I hope that's a sign! Let's cash, Cash!

Thanks Gravy Train & Jax! Happy New Year to you both!

It's confirmed that both Hamilton & Stephens are inactive for BAL today, w/1 of their top backups also out. They'll be razor thin in the secondary. Also good news for MIA is RG Zeitler is inactive, downgrading their stout oline. It's not all rosy news for MIA, as Mostert will be out. We definitely would've liked to have his physical running style to help wear down the "D". Thankfully Jeff Wilson came back last wk, who had a big run for a 1st down to seal the win vs DAL, & electric rookie Achane will take the lead role.

Adding 1 Unit to MIA +3 1/2, & 1 Unit MIA ML +144.

BOL all & FINS UP!!
