For a min, I thought I had cursed my team by taking them as my POW. Thankfully Jason Sanders, who I was highly critical of the past 2 seasons, went 5-5 on FGs, including 2 from 50+. What a great team win by MIA. I was very impressed (actually frustrated) by Dak’s ability to survive sacks & extend plays throughout the gm. He really stepped up to almost pull out the win. On the opposite side of the clutch spectrum, Jake Browning, Nick Mullens & Brock Purdy all personally torpedoed their respective teams in critical gms to give me 3 unnecessary losses (all 3 would have won if not for their awful INTs & overall play). And Minshew definitely missed Pittman as IND gets blown out by lowly ATL to blow up my Teaser. LAC & BUF made me look like a genius in their Sat tilt as BUF was incredibly lucky to come away w/a win there. At the last min, I took CLE -3 ½ over HOU, which will go into my undocumented record. CLE hit for me again Thurs over the lowly Jets.
Regular Season POW 6-10, Teasers 7-12, GOY 1-0, Overall 37-45-2 (40-45-2 Undocumented)
TB -2 ½ can clinch the South w/a win here against div rival NOR. TB won @ NOR 26-9 in Kamara’s return from suspension, where Baker went a healthy 25/32, 246 yds & 3 TDs. TB has looked very solid on both sides of the ball in their 4-gm win streak, that included JAX & GB. Oppositely, NOR has been beating up on the bad teams @ hm, & are currently 1-8 SU/ATS vs the teams above them. Carr has been his usual inconsistent self, so he could very well ball out here, but I’m not counting on it. I expect TB to pressure him to disrupt his rhythm, & Kamara didn’t practice Fri due to an illness, so if he plays it won’t be @ 100%. LB Barrett & CB Davis are out for TB, so NOR might be able to make hay there if TB’s great dline doesn’t get to Carr. Simply backing the hot team here, @ hm, who are also 3-0 SU (2-1 ATS) in the series. An odd scheduling quirk had NOR playing in a dome for 10 straight gms. So this will be their 1st outdoor gm since Wk 5 (2 ½ months ago) @ NE, where they did blow up the lowly Patsies 34-0 off 3 bad TOs from Mac Jones.
