Too bad I didn’t get a chance to look @ the rest because it was a public day in Wk 14 as some serious fav’s covered w/no problems. WAS needed last minute heroics but that was a part of my capping w/the Cousins advantage over Wentz. GB looked to be a better POW for me by blowing the doors off visiting SEA. Teaser became exciting unexpectedly w/DAL possibly killing it.
POW 8-4-2, Teasers 11-3, Overall 39-19-3 (40-18-3 undocumented), GOY 0-1.
MIA (-2 ½) plays a rare Sat gm where dogs have ruled historically in the NFL. I’m banking against that however because being a MIA fan, I’ve seen what Matt Moore can do when called into duty. He’s not a great practice QB, but he’s a gamer. Takes some risks, but w/NY’s awful secondary I feel Moore can shine here. NY is also banged up on “D” so Ajayi may not go off, but should do enough to keep NYJ close to the line. Internal reports are saying the Jets have mailed it in, however this is a rivalry & revenge is on the line so I expect a good effort from Gang Green. Petty hasn’t shown much & continues to learn life as a starting NFL QB. Marshall’s effort is highly questionable this yr, Enunwa is nursing bad ribs, & Forte is playing (still) w/a torn MCL! Throw in tackle Qvale out for the gm & Petty doesn’t have a strong supporting cast here. On the other side of the ball, MIA is getting healthier on “D” w/Mario Williams, Jenkins & Alonso returning. NYJ have been a serious pain in MIA’s side in recent yrs, but this is a different scenario w/a young QB vs a veteran one & a much upgraded MIA coaching staff.
