Even numbered wks have been such a joy. HOU cruised to victory against a comfortable foe, LAR “D” did the job vs the hapless Jets, DEN won in historic fashion (even if NOR converted the PAT, DEN would’ve covered the spread) & NYG won an impressive MNF gm. My teaser won easily again. I’m tempering expectations in this odd numbered wk.

POW 5-3-2, Teasers 8-2, Overall 29-14-2 (30-14-2 undocumented), GOY 0-1.

NYG (-7) is off their impressive win on MNF & now head into a big set-up gm w/hapless CHI. Normally a team off a short wk, emotional win, & then going against a less than stellar opponent is a recipe for a letdown. However, the G-men will be @ hm, & have a huge injury advantage over CHI. CHI’s “D” has been very good this season actually, w/strong play up front & steady play on the back end. This Sunday CHI will be w/out big DT Will Sutton who’s out for the yr. Eddie Goldman would replace him, but he reinjured his ankle making him questionable. Also nursing injuries are sack leader Willie Young, LB McPhee & veteran corner Porter. Now to the “O”. CHI’s oline was already having struggles, now they’re w/out all-pro G Kyle Long (lost for yr) & RT Massie. And in case you’ve forgotten, that is JPP’s side of the line. Even LG Sitton is nursing a bad ankle but is expected to play. So CHI’s only saving grace against a resurgent NY dline would be RB Jordan Howard doing well to take pressure off Cutler. That is highly unlikely now, w/Vernon & JPP being in the backfield often. Obviously this doesn’t bode well for TO prone Cutler. I fully expect NY’s secondary to force @ least 2 INTs w/Janoris Jenkins & Landon Collins leading the charge. Alshon Jeffery is having a down yr, but he still drew attention from opposing “D”s. Now suspended for PED use, NY’s talented secondary can focus on upstart Meredith & old man Eddie Royal. NY is not w/out injury too as starting LGs Pugh & Jones are out along w/backup Gettis. There will be shuffling along the line, but w/CHI missing key dlinemen, hopefully that will be a wash. I expect Jennings to continue to balance the NY “O” & pray that Eli doesn’t turn the ball over more than Cutler. CHI also in a back to back rd gm. CHI is a perfect 0-5 SU & ATS on the rd by over 14 ppg.

CHI 9
NYG 20
4 Units

Honorable Mentions:

1 Unit MIA -2: This definitely would’ve been my POW if dang Brandon Albert & Pouncey didn’t get hurt this wk! That oline was clicking big time, which led to Ajayi’s awakening & Tannehill winning 4 straight w/out TOs for the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] time. Rookie sensation Tunsil moves to his natural LT position w/Urbik filling in @ LG. C is where the question mark will be, but Steen did start 5 gms there. That all said, LA is now turning to #1 pick Goff behind a shaky oline & poor run gm. So although LA will have an advantage over MIA’s “O”, I feel they’ll score enough to overcome anything Goff can produce w/the likes of Austin, Britt & Kendricks.

1 Unit TEN +2 ½: IND owns a 10 gm win streak vs TEN, but I think that motivates the Titans here. In the Mariota era, the gms have been tight, coming down to the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] Q. I believe TEN has the confidence to finally pull it out on the back of DeMarco Murray & outscore IND in what should be a major shootout.

2 Unit Wormy Teaser:

TEN +15 ½
DAL +5 ½
PIT +5 ½
MIA +11

Yes! Good pt. I may have to add that one. I believe in the MIA coaches here. If Ajayi can just rip off a few big ones, I feel Parker or Stills will make a big play to win this one comfortably. Go Andrew Franks! Lol.

I saw that in your thread, Grave! I'm hoping PIT's "D" gets the message from coaching staff to step it up. CLE's run gm is not too shabby, but I'll take Ben & Bell over Kessler & Crowell any day (even a windy one). GL my friend.

Holy fuckin shit!!!!! We won!!
OH MY GOD. What a gm, huh Cash?! I was almost falling asleep watching the 1st 3 Q's. After Tunsil went down, I mailed it in. Then Tannehill just started slinging it against Fisher's soft zone. What a TD by Landry & co, then what a gutsy call to go for the win instead of a FG! Love our coach!!!

MIA saved the day w/my plays, but I was more thrilled w/their gutsy comeback.
