What a fortunate win on Thursday. That said, it was surprising to see CAR give up fairly easy TDs to DEN in the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] when they should’ve been held to FGs. However, I will not look a gift horse in the mouth! Hopefully the luck continues.
UNDOCUMENTED 2015 record: POW 9-7-1, Overall 40-43-1, PO’s 2-1, SB 1-0.
2015 Regular Season: POW 8-7-1, Teasers 5-7, Overall 38-41-1, PO’s 2-1, SB 1-0.
DAL (+1) once again loses their glass house QB, but this yr will be very different than last. While DAL looked high & low for a starting QB last season (mostly low), this yr Dak Prescott confidently takes the reins. This kid lit up preseason, w/a chunk of that against starting “D”s. Most will say pump the breaks because preseason is a terrible gage. But w/a rookie QB playing w/starters putting up a 137 rating, 78% comp rate, 5 passing TDs to no INTs, AND 2 rushing TDs, you need to take a look. Multiple reports both inside & outside of Big D say he has an incredible work ethic & passion for learning the gm. He feels slighted for dropping so low in the draft, & there’s a lot of future HoF QBs that had that same motivation. He worked w/a few NFL DBs & drove to talk w/Jon Gruden to raise his level of knowledge, before Romo got hurt. You combine that attitude & throwing accuracy behind the best oline in the NFL, veteran presences like Dez & Witten, & a run gm poised to break out, I feel Prescott may run away w/ROY over his fellow teammate! Enter the NYG. Gone is longtime fixture HC Coughlin. Now McAdoo will attempt to keep the “O” rolling & improve a much-maligned “D” from last yr. However, Spagnuolo is still “D” coordinator & their LBs could be the worst in the NFL. NY’s dline is improved, but against DAL’s oline, I do not see them making an impact. NY’s oline also looked bad this preseason, which doesn’t bode well for Eli & co. Sean Lee leads a no-name “D”, but “D” coordinator Marinelli is a great coach. They looked terrific in preseason, shutting down MIA & SEA's starters. DAL is 3-0 SU in their last 3 matchups vs NY @ hm. Cowboy stadium will be rocking behind the play of their 2 superstar-in-the-making rookies & take this one easy.
