I agree, I don't understand why the NBA needs to change the format to 2-3-2 just for the Finals. The first three playoff rounds is 2-2-1-1-1.

seriously, I have a lot of respect for your picks woody, and I'll even tune in to hear what you have to say on PTI from time to time.. but I have to ask- since you say you are already expecting orlando to win gm. 4 and tie the series (as I am too), don't you think they will then have a VERY good chance to win it all? if they win gm 4, then i really think the winner of gm 5 wins the series...and that will be in orlando, on a saturday night. If the magic win that one, it will be 3-2 orl going back to staples, and the magic have already proven they are a great road team and can win there, and hell, they almost stole gm 2 shooting only 40%..they DEFINITELY get one of two there if it goes back 3-2..

I also think that the 2-3-2 setup really increases the chances of a team coming back from 2-0, and renders that 94.2% figure completely irrelevant under the new system..just ask the miami heat!
