I was watching the Detroit/NJ trippple OT game last night with a bowl of Skunk and actually wrote down this question to ponder in the morning. "Guys are fouling out left and right. lets say we are in the 5th OT and ALL the players on the bench have fouled out. Score is still tied. One of your players on the floor commits his last foul and fouls out, you can't bring no one in and you are left with 4 players on the floor. Do you instantly lose the game or can you play with 4??

this is a very obscure and unkown rule, but, it says that in this instance the game goes into a slam-dunk contest.

it goes to a break dancing contest and each team is allowed to select 1 player, still in, or fouled out of the game, to come in and "serve" the other team.
in which case rasheed wallace would have been selected and due to his past previous expertise would have immediately dispensed kittles in the first going.

GAME.

as of now they play 21 with the remaining players

for next year they are reviewing the possiblity of implementing a game of horse should a team have too few remaining players. I like the game of 21 better, and also think they should start scoring nba games with half points. you get half a point for a free throw attempt, another half point if you make it.

Does anyone have a serious answer to this??

Can you play with 4 or do you instantly lose the game if you can't bring anyone in??

Falco: You ask a serious question and all you get are jokes from the comedians on this board.
I was thinking the same thing in the overtime and I seem to remember that somewhere in the past I heard that you can play with 4 players.

My understanding is that when you are down to 5 players, nobody fouls out at that point, but for every time somebody gets his 6th would-be foul, it is also a technical.

Not sure where I heard that.
