7-1 in women's college BB.
St. Francis at Robert Morris (on ESPNU)
3pm eastern
under 153.5
The women's championship of the Northeast Conference will be at 3pm Sunday and seen on ESPNU. These two met twice and they played a 78-73 (151 points) back on March 1 and played an 83-69 (152) game earlier in the year. This game will be played at the higher seeds home and not on a neutral floor. St. Francis can score points as they opened the year with a 117-77 loss at Penn State. Two games ago they played an OT game that ended with 256 points. However, in their last game at Mt. Saint Mary's they played a 68-63 (131) game.
St. Francis is 15-16 and in one game BOTH Hayward and Williams scored 47 points each. Robert Morris is 20-11 and playing at home and favored by -4.5 so they should be able to contral pace. Their last few games have seen 139, 114, 136, 151, 175 (OT), 135, 121 and 115.
The other women's totals set for Sunday are 124, 123.5, 130, 140.5 and 138.5. I like the under as Robert Morris will be familiar with the offensive skills of St. Francis and there should be plenty of pressure being on ESPNU and playing to get into the women's tournament.
