Title IX has really hurt men's sports.
Lots of formulas, but bottom line is if a school has football, you to take about 70 schollies away from men's sports since women do not play football. To make it equal.
SO men's hockey, track, wrestling, swimming, soccer, baseball, golf, volleyball, cross country, lacrosse, you have to drop a few teams scholarships to get to 70.
Example: UCLA dropped men's swimming many years ago... at one time UCLA men's swimming had to most Olympic gold medals of any school. Power 5 schools field walk on teams in a lot of these while their comparable female teams have full scholarship teams.
AND men's football & basketball revenue funds >99% of it all, women's barely gets any revenue at all.
AND the women still bitch about all of it...
Sports socialism, yep.
No male politician will dare look into this.
