With The 1st Pick, The 49ers Select...

Who will they select? For sure we all can agree that it will be a QB. Gents who would you select if you were the owner of the 49ers?? Alex Smith would be my selection for sure. Then again theres so many valuable players entering this draft that there could be a possible surprise. Maybe there on a different sheet of music and want to bulk up there D-FENCE (the 49ers) I feel this is going to a real exciting draft this year... oh yea and what are the chances that Mike Williams gets picked my the Vikings??? Then if did happen i guess trading Randy Moss wasnt such a bad idea...hoping that Mike Williams is no fluff either...Well i guess tommorow we will find out who are next superstars will be and were they'll be playing at next year...This NFL season is looking to be a very exciting one...its anybodys ball game...:fballch3:

I think they are mentioning interest in those two just as a smokescreen to make a good trade down more possible and also to help with the signability of Alex Smith, although it probably won't make much difference in price anyway.

Plus if they trade the pick it will most likely be Edwards that gets taken. I don't think they will be able to move the pick though.
