you cannot overlook the Baltimore Ravens anymore...They will win the Super Bowl!

Only one thing that can stop them , is home field advantage (which they won't have)

Then again they didn't have it in 2000 either... A defense that can shut any team down and a running back who is having as good a season as any back ever has, Baltimore could do it again!

They dont have near the D they had in 2000.

Remember, it was only 15 days ago that they gave up 41 points.

I don't know JMan, but I wouldn't mind it. I played them for 30-1 before the season due to the addition of Suggs and Boller, their soft division and their dominant defense.

Well, maybe they have a quarterback in Wright, although he will likely fold when the pressure gets playoff-hot but maybe more important is that they are killing their running back. That guy hits hard every time and they give it to him so much. Late in the game you see him and he looks like he's just come out of the ring Vs. Frasier...he's really getting beat up.

Fun team to watch though, imo.

Danny the D is no where near what it was...that D was unbelievable, maybe best ever! But this team has a better balance and a passing game and Jamal is running better than ever....No team right now could go to Baltimore and win...The NFL is full of teams that have no consistency, the Ravens have that....And they have a defense and running game that can win road games....

BTW that 41 they gave up , that does happen ...even in 2000 they were torched by the Jets in the final regular season game...they can definitely travel to Indy, KC, or New England and get a win...

Pretending- Lewis may look tired but he seems to run just as strong in the 2nd half (he did it again yesterday) and he is actually more healthy now then he was say 5 weeks ago....

I think only Earl Campbell has taken more punishment in one season,lol...No longer can teams stick 8 in the box, Wright is solid enough to get it done...All the sudden Robinson looks like the player he was in Chicago.... It will be interesting, I say they probably come up a game short ....But for a team that started the year with a rookie QB they have come a long way...Hell they could easily have beaten , KC, St Louis and Miami...

Wil- wouldn't you rather see New England drop a game in the next 3 weeks to get that long winning streak out of the way?

They certainly have as good a chance as anyone...But then again they could have a road game at Cleveland and still only be about a 4 point favorite...

Hey man, we already gave you the Colts

Thanks to a drunken clueless owner

BTW General, anymore on the Colts moving to LA?

That blue horseshoe still means alot to the people in Baltimore

They should have never kept the name.

Also I'd like to see Indy play outdoors....these dome teams just seem to carry a stigma of not being able to win in January...They need an outdoor stadium!

Anthony are you referring to the Ravens/Rams game??? LMAO you have to be kidding me, The Ravens dominated most of that game....And the Ravens are a much different team now...Rams come to Baltimore and wouldn't score more than 10

The Rams won't make it though

I just hope the Pats get homefield throughout the playoffs. If they lose a game along the way and still get HF. Fine. I have to admit that they are playing well, but I am not a diehard fan, I will be rooting, but not life and death like a lot of NFL fans. btw. rooting is fine with me, if you have a favorite team, like the Ravens in your case, root, thats what non-gambling sport fans do. Believe me when I say, if I have even a small bet against the Patriots, I will root for them to fall off the planet. Getting back to the Ravens, they look very good, but don't forget this 3 game win streak has come at home. That said, I can't see the Raiders beating them this weekend. Should be a great final 3 weeks to the regular season.

wil.

PS> I did not mean you do not bet re. big Ravens fan.

Ravens look more like the 2001 team (the one that got smoked 27-10 by pittsburgh in the playoffs) than the superbowl team.

I agree with Pancho about the Ravens and 2001, but the difference is the rest of the league does not look the same. Nobody too dominant, anybody who gets on a roll here has a chance; even GBay.

But here is why I had to join in again...the most over-rated team BY FAR is ST Louis.

Wil- I am not a diehard Ravens fan...I think gambling has changed that for me....I am more a fair weather fan when it comes to them...they have been quite impressive though and it makes it fun...And with the two Lewis studs who have national appeal it makes it all the better!

I think nationally people haven't really seen much of them yet since the QB change, its a totally different team...It reminds me so much of the Super Bowl season when down the stretch they continued to be under estimated by everyone...And won and covered every game accept that Jets game (last reg game)

We shall see...Right now, NE KC BALT INDY TENN....not much difference between them....even throw in MIA

You are most likely right about the Rams, problem is: Who in the NFC, save Philly, is any better?

Philly is decent, Green Bay is all right, Carolina is all right - the rest are not very good. Far cry from a few years ago, but I'm not complaining.

I have said it all year the NFC is horrible...I guess Philly has resurfaced as the front runner...I can't give Green Bay much props after losing to Detroit, they might not even get in!

NFC is a clusterf uck of mediocrity

It was'nt long ago an AFC team could come close to winning a Super Bowl. Remember the Niners-Chargers, I think the line was SF -22.

Very true! It will be a long time before that happens again though...Even with the AFC having overall better upper echelon teams it isn't that much better! Not like that NFC dominant run from the mid 80's to late 90's..
