After going 9-4 during his first season, Wisconsin coach Gary Anderson gets a new five year package. The new contract will pay Anderson $2.2 million with annual raises of $100,000. I'm sure Anderson being approached back in February by the Cleveland Browns about their head coaching vacancy had nothing to do with the pay increase.

Wisconsin has the players and schedule to have a good year this season. Look out for the Badgers......

He's getting $2.2 million. Even if Bielema gets fired from Arkansas, making that move was a huge financial windfall for him (he's getting well over $4 million).

I hope Anderson can give Ohio Community College (aka OSU) a challenge. Tired of seeing that conference as weak as they are.

Any thoughts on how Bielema will do this year in Arkansas?

Yeah, Bret Bielema hit hog heaven gold with the Razorbacks. He made well over $3 million last season. Wisconsin never has been a school who has paid their coaches well. Their highest paid assistant (one of the coordinators) will make $480,000 this season. Maybe I should say compared to other top coordinators in the country...especially the SEC.

Coach, I believe Wisconsin will be a player in the Big Ten this year. Notice the regular season schedule does not include Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State or Penn State. That's dodging some heave hitters.

LSU (Houston), Western Illinois, Open, Bowling Green, South Florida, @Northwestern, Illinois, Open, Maryland, @Rutgers, @Purdue, Nebraska, @Iowa, Minnesota

If they can work some magic against LSU......they have a very legitimate chance to make it to the Big 10 Champ undefeated.

Outside of LSU......@Iowa is their toughest game. The only other team that will probably be worth a shit is Nebraska, but they have them at the Camp.

I agree Mr. A....nice schedule for the Badgers. They will be breaking in a number of new starters but should be just fine.

Hey Bud, your Dawgs should be damn good on defense this year. New coordinator (needed) and a ton of experience and talent on that side of the ball. The offense has the two best running backs of any team in the conference...offensive line needs to help.

I like Georgia and South Carolina to fight it out for the East.

Damn, Wisky's schedule is cake (well, most B10 teams schedules are cake!). Agree w// Mr. A, they could go undefeated into the B10 title game if they pull out some magic vs. LSU (which I don't see happening).
