Guys let me tell you, living here in Champaign i can feel Illinois deflating BIGTIME. This team is going no where fast and Wisconsin should come in here and easily take this game.

Let Northern Illinois play these grammar schools.

Feel the public will be all over UW in this one, but still would not shy away. UW is the better team. Ill.'s 2 losses vs. UCLA an Cal. leave this young team shaken. Wisconsin is simply the better team and will take advantage. Grab it now as this will not be at 2.5 for long.

Hey brock this is one of two games im looking at right now.. both losses tell me alot. ucla and cal right now are not looking to good. wisc should win this one easily.... the other game is sdsu +11 1/2 agaisnt ucla.. sdsu plays tough in ohio shows some stones there in a close match. they came out last week with a let down game and stayed even with stamford til the 3rd quarter. then they got back on track took care of business.. looking for them to do the same...ohhh yah the illinois game wisconsin all the way......

Here's why I like Illinois. In the Cal game they give up a punt return before half to make it 21-7. second half they get a big play td. Get the ball back driving again - Beutjer throws an Int returned down which sets up another Cal score. Team still rallies behind the passing offense (400 yards + i believe) and pulls to 31-24 with a chance to tie it again. Couple in this is back to back home games and a big 10 game and I'll take the points with the home team.

I don't have time to post much guys, but check out Wisky's injuries before you get down, top 2 backs still ques., as well as other injuries. Alvarez seems to be really shaking lineups around also. I really liked Wisky until I did some reading. I do not know much about Illinois, but I'll try to get more Badger info this week.

Blown Head Gasket, these were ligitimate scores that Cal scored. And remember this is Cal we're talking about. They may be better than expected, but still not a very good team.

The Illini OWN the Badgers...Badgers have major problems with passing teams. Badgers have major injuries at RB. QB Sorgi of Wisconsin is suspect especially if Wisconsin running game is shut-down....Wisconsin has probably the most talented set of receivers in the country but mediocre QB at best. A case could be made for the ILLINI being 4-0 as they have played all 3 losses even up and vs quality opponents. Badgers pass defense should get thoroughly tested from ILLINI. I'd be careful guys backing strongly the Badgers this week. Badgers are NOT that good and will be on THE ROAD!!!! Give me the ILLINI

Illinois has no heart, they fold like a chair in most of the pressure situations and have been nothing special at all at home, in fact i think they play better on the road. Been watching this team very closely here from my home base in champaign for almost 8 years and with a few exceptions (2001) this team is mediocre at best.

I would look to play this game as an Over.
I have watched both teams and they are both struggling but Wiscy's Pass Defense will be scorched by Illinois. The only competent passing offense UW has played was Akron and they had a huge day at Madison.
I actually see Illinois improving- and wouldnt be surprised to see them win this game easily.
Wisconsin's best game was their first game- Sorgi seems to be in a funk- Evans hasnt come back all the way.
