It's a classic contrast in styles and my money is usually on the slow, plodding team in such instances. Fast teams like UWM have trouble when having to play half-court grinders. In addition, UWM won't be able to score off their defense like they often do. Purdue has the guards to handle the full court traps and presses that UWM will lay on em and I'd expect Purdue to score often when beating the press.....UWM won't make the points off TOs they do against the poor backcourts in the Horizon. Purdue's patient style will likely make UWM impatient on the defensive end when in their halfcourt sets. Also, Purdue will muscle UWM in the paint and how the game is called will be pretty important. I would expect that big ten refs in a big ten house aren't going to give the small school invaders much in the way of calls. I know Purdue is a team with a losing record in the Big Ten, but in this spot, situation and matchup, for my $$, it's Boilers or nothing.
