jets lose for sure this week! Indy will be pissed; dungy always good at defending home turf. teams the week after the raiders have in general done very badly. Besides Indy just a flat out better team.

sammy is probably right here - but....

in order to win this thing - now that we have only 6 weeks left - you basically need to "map" out the rest of the season - looking ahead to see who you could take each week. the reason you gotta do that is because while a team might be a good play 1 week - you might need them another week down the line - as is the case with NYJ (who you might need in week 17). while i realize it is dangerous to plan for weeks that might not come about - you still need to be prepared.

as for this week, 1 pick realllly stands out:

Washington

the reason i say this is because EVERYTHING i have seen on this game is about how stephen davis is gonna try and seek "revenge" on the skins for cutting him after last season. his teammates are also fired up for davis - since he is a HUGE part of their success. yes - they could have a letdown after beating TB last week in an emotional game - but the "davis" factor outweighs that - i believe. unfortunately we can't go back and see how carolina did the week after playing TB - for they had a BYE the next week - so there was no chance for a letdown - and then the week after the BYE - they basically got another one - in a game against the falcons. the skins have the 26th ranked run D in the nfl - meaning davis could run until his legs fall off in this game. unless he gets hurt - davis is a LOCK to rush for 100 yards - and he he gets close to 200 it won't shock me.

for week 11 - Washington is who i would go with

as for Week 12 - tell your son whatever the earliest day possible he can turn in his pick - to make it:

Oakland (@ KC)

no gannon. no marques t. i gotta think the chefs are drooling over the thought of facing rick mirer and rob johnson! this one has 3+ TD blowout written all over it.

Winky, Thanks for your help. Last time i didn't listen to your help it cost me. We were looking at 3 picks jets san diego and cincy. Seeing as how i paid for the pool i am going to make the pick. I know picking any team to win or loose in any sport is a crap shoot , you just have to go with your best infmation and hopr for the best. Washington is my pick. I am sorry to say i am losing my internet access after tomorrow. hopefully i will be able to get in touch with you through another source. tanks again for all your help. on way or anothr i will try to let you know how things went TK

i sense tjek was shitting massive bricks when the skins went ahead late. thankfully the incompetent refs gave davis the td - when he was done at the "inch" line.

the question is which one of these teams (NYG/TB) will pack it in for the season - and quit?

of the 2 - i think NYG will pack it in because they know fassel is dead meat at season's end - so they will start to tune him out - if they haven't already.

but if you are in a suicide pool - or loser pool - i don't want either side of this game. ya gotta think tampa wins a home game sometime - but when? not with my money will i bet this game - either way.

HELLO WINKY.

1st off - tjek's son already took houston - so that is out. as for them losing this week - there are better weeks to take them - like when they are on the road and NOT playing a home game against a team coming off an emotional win and now going on the road.

If I have looked at this correctly - then you only have two options that look good this week - Raiders losing to the Chiefs or Atlanta losing to the Titans ---

Next week looks like their are a few options (Vikings, etc.) - so I would go with the better of the two this week - which would be da Raiders!

But then aain - I got kicked out of my survivor pool 2 weeks ago!

But

if tjek and his son see this - if you went with the skins and raiders the last 2 weeks - are your hearts back to normal by now.

both my picks got there - and i guess that is the most important thing - but neither of them were wire-to-wire no brainers!

as for week 13 - t-giving week - there are a few - but the most solid one i feel (and it might be dicey, too - but i am confident it will get there) is:

Minnesota (losing @ St. Louis)

at some point in time - and that time is now - you have to take one of the better teams in the league to lose. minny is an above average team that is facing a very good team - and i am confident the rams win this one in MO

if you are still around and seeing this tjek (and son) - for week 14 solid picks include:

Indy (@ Titans)

Dallass Cowgirls (@ Eagles)

Chefs (@ Broncos)

Miami (@ Pats)

of these 4 - the one i feel best about is:

Dallass Cowgirls (losing @ Philly)
