Playoffs are a different story and i just dont see either of their goalies capable of pulling off the repeat.

Playoffs are a different story and i just dont see either of their goalies capable of pulling off the repeat.

The Wings goaltending is better this year than last.

But they don't need great goaltending to win the Cup again. Just good goaltending. And they have that.

I agree the wings don't have the best goaltending this year. Both goalies they have are decent. They will have to put up some points this year in the playoff's to win another cup. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go back to back.

im not saying their goalie situation is bad, but lets face these guys are playing in back of the best team out there.

my biggest question is, are either of these goalies capable of winning a game themself? and i dont think they are, sure their numbers might be better than last year from a goalie stand point, but i think they have a better team this year than last.

Well, that's where we differ then. Cause I don't think that have to.

Conklin's better than a 43 year old Hasek last season and nobody knows what you get with Osgood but he's won 2 cups with that same resume'. No, he's not having a great regular season. But he's got a cool or calmness about him where he doesn't get down on himself after a bad game. NOBODY trusted him last season either and he stood on his head. I hate his game. But I'm not writing him off by any means. He's already proved me wrong too many times.
