glad i didn't unload on them today. had the 1st period over and wings regulation but didn't lose a whole lot.
what did we have today?? ok preds in a 3/4 back to back with travel even though the distance wasn't far. preds hammered the wings 8 zip last time they met. wings looking for win #50 to tie a record. what do we get?? a wings team that played a conservative game cause they know their goaltending isn't up to par. and they lost...haha.

what's your take. a more hungrier team today?? or do you finally realize the wings aren't that good now that the real season is soon upon us?? i don't think these guys can turn it on and off like some people think.

They wont lose in the first round however they are not winning the Cup. Wish I could find a book that offers a yes or no prop to bet on if they will win the Cup or not. Let me know if you see one

This is the same exact team that won the cup last season and to that they've added Marion Hossa. The only thing missing is Todd McClellen and a 43 year old Dominek Hasek. For the last week and a half I've watch your emotions go back and forth with this team. One day you love them...the next day their garbage.

I got an idea.

If you REALLY think their chances are worse off than any other team in the playoffs....then i suggest you do what Vic suggested and bet against them at Matchbook. Those are pretty good odds if you really don't believe they haven't a chance.

If all the key players are healthy once the playoffs begin, I think you might be sorry you made that bet.

Do you remember when the Sharks came to town and needed to measure themselves against them. They got up for that one. Or how about the Hockey classic on New years day? They got up for that one too. Nashville's style of play does give them fits at times. They gave them their best competition in last year's playoffs. I think your putting too much weight on these games down the stretch when teams motivation are different.

lol Im tempted to keep doubling up on the wings till they pay me back too but they are way too chalky to do it with. I know the game I stop is the game they win too. Hate that damn team and Osgood looks like shit this year, not upto the same standard he played at least season.
