trying to listen to archives of the stardust morning line on kdwn but when the media player pops up and it begins there is no sound coming out even though the volume is up...any tips?

went to reboot and try again. the volume is cranked all the way up and there is little noise and some static coming from the speaker. not going to sit here holding a speaker to my ear just to barely hear an interview lol. have my speakers gone bad then?

This could be a few things. Try playing another audio file & see if that's the issue. Also, go into control panel & make sure the volume isn't turned down in there-then do the same within Media Player.

If this problem applies to all files, your speakers may be shot, or your sound card may have gone bad-or more likely, it's driver(software) is corrupted & needs to be reinstalled.
