Some of you "OG" RX'ers will remember this thread from Ace-Ace my friend and mentor. To those of you who are new, I hope you enjoy this thread as much as I did when Ace did it. Just like Ace, I have always wanted to try this challenge myself, so here we go!!

ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE IF I COULD MAKE MONEY THIS WAY...

I WILL MAKE MY BETS BASE ON NBA AND NCAAB (JUST DOING IT HERE IN THE NBA FORUM)

FOR ME ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY...BECAUSE ITS ONLY A $2000 BANK ROLL

TRYING TO WIN $10 A GAME...IF I LOSE IT WILL GO UP TO $21 BET ON THE NEXT ONE...UNTIL I WIN THE $10.00

SOMETHING LIKE THIS WILL HAPPEN IF I LOSE 7 IN A ROW

1ST BET $10
2..........$21......LOSS = $33
3..........$43......LOSS = $80
4..........$90......LOSS = $179
5..........$189....LOSS = $387
6..........$397....LOSS = $824
7..........$834....LOSS = $1741 TOTAL AND CHALLENGE OVER

EVERY BET I AM ONLY TRYING TO WIN $10

COULD ADD A "0" AT THE END.....BUT THIS IS NOT ABOUT THAT...ITS ABOUT ME NOT LOSING 7 IN A ROW (AT TIMES I WILL HAVE MY OWN PERSONAL MONEY ATTACHED TO CERTAIN PLAYS ON THE SIDE, THAT MONEY WILL NOT BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE $2000 BANKROLL OF THE CHALLENGE, JUST SIDE $$$)

Food for thought.First off GL with your venture.I do think this style of betting risks more and ends up winning less , if you can predict winners at a 55% rate.Why not take the 2K bankroll and risk 14% of your bankroll on each play. As you win your wager increases as you are always risking 14%.If you adjust the bet size as your BR grows,and the same as it shrinks on a losing streak of 7 losses you will be broke.Losing 7 in a row is going to happen.The higher % you can pick games at,the longer it will take to hit that 7 game losing streak.When your at 5 or 6 losses in a row thats a lot of money to risk to win $10.I am not saying you can t do it, but i think you have a better chance of doubling your BR quicker,by overbetting your BR and when you double it to 4K, pull haf down and rinse and repeat.Not to be sarcastic but GL winning $10 at a time.Thats patience,your probably a good Holdem player.seriously

Seems unlikely to lose that many in a row but once you get to a certain amount of games risking that much to win one unit seems like a disaster and just not worth it

Not to mention, usually when the poster loses one system, theyll start another "system" to fluff up their records. To me, ive noticed Martingale posters ussually do it to tout.

I did it in 2017 here……the Martingale sys only lost one game in 554 times
I did it for fun
side money on the same games was for the money

Your opinion is valid, but this is strictly for fun. But, it will be very profitable in the long run with the side $$$. Thanks for the response.
