no threads?...no thoughts?...just jackass's on the network saying it was a clean hit...roflmao...

this is one of the reasons I got out of this business because of stuff like this. football is not the game it use to be because of technology...I use to cover the games and win capping them...but the NFL is a complete joke. so inconsistent it's laughable bad

no penalty? no review..only if they want too..lmao....obv if this fell within the time contraints it would've been.

ok....follow me here.....in a day or 2.....there will be a head to head foul w/ penalty to pitt...and u know what happens...

the whole pitt team contributes to the 50k cash penalty occured on this play/hit after the fact when nobody gives a shit..

u don't think what's his face (carter) is going to front the whole amount lol...

i luv it..the only people that give a shit how the games are called and outcome are bettors and fans.....

this gives the NFL admins a excuse not to care either way

joke city baby,,,

the NFL now makes politics seem legit

Actually it was a clean hit...brutal yes...but legal nonetheless...

I too did watch if the play was a catch or not (actually rewinding my dvr several times)...call on the field has to stand...no way would there have been enough evidence to overturn...

But I feel your pain...not in this case...but in past instances for sure...

What was wrong with the hit? Led with his shoulder and Willis lowered his head into Clark's head.

I certainly agree that the refs are inconistent at best, and that the announcers are a joke. The most they could have done is to review the play to see whether or not it was a completed pass with a fumble. I don't think they could have reviewed whether or not there was a penalty for an illegal hit on the play.

Harbaugh used all his challenges in the first half. That's his fault for not having one for the last 35 minutes of the game.

4.5 years on this fine site 6 posts with at least one of them dumb as fuck. Watch the replay looks like a catch and a crunching hit. Not nice to have helmet to helmet contact but the only rule about it is on the QB so your post has no points worth reading.

no......it wasn't a head to head..and u will hear about the penalty quietly on the back page soon enough so that feathers arent ruffled.

it doesn't matter because nobody gives a shit regardless

thats the beauty in all this BS and all the attempts to try and make the NFL better through rules and instant replay.

they don't have have to answer to anybody..

tuck rule....phantom hold....ticky tack..pass int....

bad news baby..

I read a post not to long ago..it said something like the forefathers of of the nfl WOULD BE TURNING OVER IN THEIR Graves if they called this type of stuff.(referring to the sd/pitt game) .it really rings true..

nobody gives a a fuk..and I was paid capper on a rival site...

the nFL have been going further in the toilet for close to 10yr s now

Toilet=NBA

Fuck has a "C" in it. It isn't a censored word so go ahead and spell it out.

So what's the penalty that will be fined if you insist it wasn't for head to head.

The review wouldn't have even been close as to doubting a catch and fumble.

He caught the ball, took about three steps and then got decleated......no knees or elbows were anywhere close to being on the ground, absolute catch and fumble.

I had Pitt tonight, but that hit scared me. I hope Mcgahee is okay. If anyone has an update that would be much appreciated. I seriously think his career might be over after that hit. I mean I will always gamble, but when you see something like that it kind of takes the fun out of the betting even when you are winning.
Thanks!

You cant call that. Magahee ducked at the end, the steeler player was going for his chest.

The non holmes td was a horrendous call though.

fuk that jack off phil simms..

there will be a penalty on this this

the only way if there isn't is if willis doesn't suffer a a bad injury because of it..

nFL has to cover it's ass either way in a way to make them look not so bad,,

the only way to do this is to do it after the fact when outcry dies down

what nobody seesm to give a shit about is the way some games are decided.

we have all this technology at our disposal and the NFL still fucks things up.

this is an old song..10ys..and it's not getting better
technolgy and cameras aren't going anywhere.

it might be after were dead when its a game called from up in the booth almost excliusively w/ 10+ refs analyzing certain players in their own monitors and relaying it to the on field ref..

this is where things half to go

Dude when you get millions to play, you already know you are playing a game that is live contact. As a RB McGahee puts his head down every time he is trying to run over a defensive player. It's all part of the game, and always will. There won't be a fine, because Mac was just as responsible for lowering his head when he took the hit.

Not even close to being a cheap shot. Clean all the way.:ohno:
