Hey Guys -
Will be in Vegas a bunch coming up for work - like once a month for a year.

Looking for good ways to take advantage of racking up points/comps/etc.. so that when I stay for a weekend for personal use I can use them.

So work will cover meals/hotel/etc.. - will be eating dinner on the strip for the few nights per month I am there, obviously doing gambling, etc..

Wondering if there is a good strategy.
Open cards at a bunch of places?
Try to gamble (and even eat meals) at similar places (M Life casinos, Caesars Properties, etc..)

Just curious if anyone has ideas
Thanks!

Do you have any choice on where you stay?

Stick to one slot club family and just play at those places with most of your action to rack up the comps there.

Sign up for as many initial promos as you can at other properties though to get the initial freebees. Maybe play a little at each to start with. Then bring your action to your property chain of choice. Just throwing stuff out there...

Played at Caesars mostly for years. Got tons of comped rooms. They got a little more stingy the past year. So I moved to Boyd and Stations. I like the off Strip properties better now in my latter gambling years.

Get off the srtip to get more bang for your buck. But if you want to act like you have more money than what you have and act like a big shot stay on the strip. Travel out like Red Rock Resort and down the Uber road past Nicolas Cage's house you have Suncoast or yet for a more better all around destination resort, local, classy, relaxing, clean, Awesome pool, hidden gem, would be Rampart Casino.

If you're going to be there 12x in the next year and your play is decent($75+/hand BJ) you shouldn't have a problem getting comped anywhere. The Caesars line seems to be the most generous for mid tier players. I would stay away from Boyd's imho

thanks for the tips so far - I will not get to pick where I stay, work does - and probably won't be at casino/hotel

might look at Ceasars/Harrahs

Boyd properties are the best for giving stuff away. They are easy to get rooms and food from just for normal play.I've been staying at the orleans for a hell of a long time and have not paid for a room or food.

Handing out in July for first trip. Once a month for 16 months. Not staying at a casino.
So will be looking for good ways to,rack up points for when I have fun weekends. Thinking of maybe a credit card too? Like mlife or total rewards both have them.

Also so will be posting a thread probably for good restaurants etc since will be eating there 3 times a month minimum

Really hard to get sweet deal anymore. Have to be juiced in anymore to be taken care of, or be a whale. Even alot of the smaller whales are being treated like crap nowadays. This town wants it all and I mean all of it. Off strip is the lesser of the two evils to have any shot for anything in return.
