Can you put the thread that you deleted BACK??

It was a good political thread about the current financial crisis and parties involved, if someone didn't like the title and YOU felt it to be inappropriate then change it??

BUT put the thread back in....Since when do we delte threads?? move it to the RR, but don't delete it!

I realize I'm taking a risk with the above post but frankly I don't care. If censorship is that strong here, I'm not sure I belong in this place anyway.

I'm a pro gambler which is supposedly what this forum is about, but when I've been open and vocal about certain tricks I use, I've had negative repercussions like accounts getting frozen or closed. Just sayin' that's why I don't post much about gambling and mainly just politics.

Sad but true situation when a site is funded by the industry. It can be about fairness which is all well and good, but it can't be about the player as opposed to the industry because that would be biting the hand that feeds it.

Dunno why I just said the above, maybe just preparation for a banning, or a spontaneous brain fart. I think I can "behave" 99% of the time, but this type of censorship is a bit much IMO.

That makes yourself, Jolatti and Buster all more or less voicing this morning that you may be better off posting somewhere else (or not at all) instead at this totally free site. Fine, that is your perrogative but try to remember there are two sides to every issue.

Personally I at first look I took it for what to me it is - a juvinile attempt at satire that failed miserably but others were offended. Again, as I have said often enough there is no way to please all the people all the time.

I am actually glad Doc Mercer is back, now you will be able to bitch about him instead of the pro Jewish/Israeli faction complaining about what they feel are offensive threads/posts.

In the meantime so far this morning 16 new posters have registered. The beat goes on.

Yes there was another thread with NO harm about the new Fed cheif...and now it is gone...title was not PC, but come on......It was a good thread about the current crisis.

Wil, I have a tremendous amount of respect for honest, hard-working people who tirelessly do thankless jobs, and that naturally includes yourself. There is something you guys have that I don't, such as an ability to put up with a lot of shit, and that is definitely an admirable trait.

Still, I think much of the stress you are experiencing is self-inflicted. It's true you can't please everyone, but I think you came up with a great idea once to give the politics forum rubber room moderation status. That would alleviate a lot of your problems right there, and while you may lose some posters by doing that, I can see it attracting new people as well.

Actually, the freer the flow of discussion, the harder it is to stay away for most people IMO.

I do appreciate that this site exists and is free, just expressing my views as always.

On the other hand you guys should be able to handle an edit or a deletion without getting all misty once in a while, this is a politics forum on a gambling website, not exactly Meet The Press.

While I was dealing with how horrible this website is I also had to deal with Most users ever online was 8,667, 11-23-2008 at 12:56 PM.

There's no point in complaining guys, apart from the law there's the risk of being sued by various parties.
The internet has become a minefield zone as the government and the legal establishment has moved in.

As I've said before, we've already seen the best times on the internet and if you want to participate in the future then you have to accept censorship and whatever other directions society moves itself towards.

The difference with it being the internet is that you got to watch those changes happen, you were around before the mainstream internet became a politically correct shopping channel.

Remember the net as a market forces free fire zone, because it won't ever be that way again.
