5Dimes did not renew their contract om July 1st. Will they be back for football is anyone's guess. They are still a fine and reputable book but do not for now at least advertise here.
That does not mean I can't pick up the phone and talk to them should a Rxer have a problem at 5Dimes either.

Don't believe everything you read. Sponsors come and go all the time, some like 5Dimes could very well return for football like several others usually do.
SportsOptions is now a separate company with their own ownership and management. They are just another advertiser as far as TheRx.com goes.
Speaking of The Rx. we are doing just fine. Active threads from June of 2007 to June of 2008 show a significent increase (in important indicator of poster participation), as do the the same stats for every month so far during the year 2008.
Real day to day traffic is excellent across the board as is our overall prognosis for growth for the rest of this year and next. Look for two new sponsors to come on board soon.
The site continues to grow averging at least 30 new registrations every day (45 yesterday). Right now my focus is to assure Rx Bash 2008 is a success. This will be my fourth Bash as Head Moderator and hopefully will be great fun for all who attend.
