Total bullshit - I get a check every month and they clear in two days here in the USA. In fact this is the second check The Rx. has sent him this one and one from another contest last year.

If there is something actually wrong with the #s on the check (which I doubt) then mail it back for a replacemnt. I will contact bookeeping immediately about this. I purposely did not send my own check for this very reason and asked bookeeping to make a photocopy of the check for secruity reasons.

Wil, I'm not bullshitting you. My wife tried to deposit the check today and the bank told her it was missing a routing number and would take 3-6 Months to clear. They suggested trying to cash it at a Casino. The cage at Santa Fe had no record of Rx Advertising Inc.

How about I just hang on the damn check and look you up at the Bash, I'll trade it for 3 crisp hundys.

Look Wil, we took our shots the war is over as far as I'm concerned.

No hard feelings on this end. I'm way too old and fat to fight and I really don't need the cash right away anyway. I don't really care if this site promotes new porn books or old "shit" books. I'll refrain from trashing the Rx even if it is "tongue in cheek."

I already sent off an email to the person who mailed the check for me. I will find out what happened with this particular check. If need be I can have payment stopped and a cashiers check sent. This should be taken car of immediately.

I had one sent to me once and it did take a while but Wil did everything in his power to get the thing corrected. Not his fault, just canadian banks I guess! It shoudlnt take over 3 weeks though!

As you may be aware, we pay several different companies (in addition to several members of the RX staff) who reside in the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">US</st1:place></st1:country-region> by the exact same cheques, drawn on the same bank account, as the one that I sent to xxxxxx xxxxxx. We have never had a problem with a <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">US</st1:place></st1:country-region> bank cashing or honoring these cheques. And to answer your first question, these cheques do not have routing numbers on them.<o:p></o:p>

While I cannot answer when cheques were presented for deposit, I can tell you that it normally has taken less than a week from the date that I issued a cheque to clear our account. I therefore do not understand where Mr.xxxxxx is getting his information because I have not found this to be true in the last 2 ½ years since we’ve had this account. <o:p></o:p>
