O's always seem to be able to hit, but now lack any pitching. Personally, I wish all Oriole fans the best, but because of di##head Angelos , he makes it very difficult to root for them. And it is sad because many Washington people would still root for the O's if it were not for him.Journeyman said:O's are leading AL in runs...and home runs

I hear that. But I'm still pissed to this day when they fired Cal Sr. Talk about a guy who bled Oriole blood and that was a common trait in both Sr. and Jr.!Journeyman said:Whatever it is at this point, they've just lose that special feeling they had with the fans of the area...It was like once Ripken left , he was the last link to the old Orioles.
JMan, if you ever see him again, tell him I said Thank You! That guy gave me and everybody a lot of great times!Journeyman said:CapN , believe it or not, I was in a fantasy league several years ago now, and Wild Bill Hagy was in the league....LOL, I couldn't believe it when I showed up at this banquet hall and low and behold the mountain man Hagy was sitting there at the table....quite a sight!
BTW- he was not very good , he looked the same but much grayer, and this was back in 1991...
He sure was one of the main attractions from that 'Orioles Magic' era and if you mention or think about those days 1979-1983, you have to think about Wild Bill Hagy.
