If you think the line should be 7 to 10, yet it opened at 2.5 and has not budged from 2.5 despite almost 70% of people being on the Lakers....What does that tell you?....It should tell you to take the Clippers...

You could have asked that same question last year on opening day Oct. 22, 2019. The new Lakers with AD and Lebron were a -3’ point chalk to the Clips. Clippers ended up winning SU by 10. Clips were dogs in 3 of their 4 match ups last year again LAL, they were getting 2’, 3’ and 4 points respectively. Clips covered all 3 games as dogs including winning 2 SU. So recent history has shown these two play tight games when Clips are a dog and it could go either way. I would be inclined to take the points.

Also, anyone have SU and ATS numbers of defending champs on opening night? I think NFL the defending champs have done well on opening night. Don’t think it’s the same for NBA?? Can someone confirm?

Ring ceremony tonight and that usually spells trouble for the champs in any sport. Clippers have listened to all that criticism since they got booted from the bubble. Love my Lakers! However, I'm on the Clippers +3.
