I mean isnt this still the Big House? I understand new caoch and system but cmon national TV, home game. Still players from last year... I just dont see Utah coming in and playing with the Bid Ugly's in Blue. Maybe a 7 ot 10 point win by Blue today... Seems like a trap......

Hey kojack , if you look in my post i think it has alot to do with 1-the factor of stability vs uncertainty..........
2-the factor of proven skill players vs no proven skill players.......
3-the factor of a team's history in early games under its present coach..

If Michigan loses their defense must really be awful.

Also their offensive line and running game must really be awful.

You would think their whole line is all 6-6 330 and they should be able to mash Utah all day.

The Big House is not that great of a home field advantage. I have been there many times and it is not that loud.

How could Utah be the trap??? Most people were on Michigan and saw them as a small favorite with a new name coach in his first game against a non-bcs, non-household team. Whether or not you would bet Utah or not, I don't know how anyone could bet Michigan based solely on that line. That was the most obvious line to tell you who was going to win or cover. The oddsmaker would not be a 3 out there if they didn't think Utah was going to cover. They wanted to attract Michigan money and they did. Michigan is not better than Utah and that was proven today.
