Why Play Duke/ Why Play Wake?

Current year 16-3 SU (48-19 last 3Y) vs teams with winning records
3-1 SU as a dog this year.
Duke only 19-22 ATS at home last 3 years

Duke:
Coming off 2 straight losses for the 1st time in ?????
DUKE is 7-0 SU and ATS at home vs WF since 1997
Duke 12-1 SU at home (42-2 last 3Y)
Only lost 89-92 at Wake, how much is home court worth?

I don't think anyone is actually ignoring your question. I think that, like me, many don't have a great answer which is why I see this place somewhat divided here with a leaning toward Wake. tulsa

For what it's worth: One site show the public divided almost exactly 50/50 on their choices. Another site shows a line open of -3 that is now trending to -4.5 on Duke. That would indicate to me.....actually not much at all....LOL. Good Luck. tulsa

I'm divided too. I don't see any big advantage either side.

I am hoping for a game like their last when Wake had the big lead, and Duke hit some 3s down the stretch to make it close

I took Wake +2.5 (-105) 1H for 2 units
and Duke ml (-194) for 2 units

I think Duke coming off of 2 losses is going to come out firing and running the floor. As will Wake, so I am taking

1st Half Over 75.5 and might take the over in the 2nd half as well.

Just my quick observation, but I would love to see Duke lose 3 in a row...then they are going to Georgia Tech, and maybe drop their 4th in a row...remember Tech beat Wake on their home court...Duke better step up tonight, or the ball may start rolling downhill...

Has this EVER happened

Visiting team takes more than 2x as many free throws than Duke? I thought Duke always got the calls at home? hmmm....Duke shooting 58% from the field and losing

Wake is the better TEAM, but I can see the refs evening things out in the 2nd half here

Played both wake and the under in the first half...i have wake for the game...i am leaning on under 85 for 2nd half...any thought on the 2nd half total?

I took the over... hoping they keep the pace up.... and I figure the last 2 minutes of the 2nd half always has a lot more scoring than the last 2 mins of the 1st half. Just my thoughts

But hey, one of us will be a winner for sure THE CLOSER, gl to us both.

This is nothing new and I have mentioned this before. I have made a mint off of Duke at home no matter the talent they have on the floor they will always have the refs a Cameron.

Duke shot 26 FTs in the 2nd half and got some generous calls I think. Can't wait to see Duke playing 3 games in 3 days in the ACC tourney with the minutes their starters put in. Plus it will be on a neutral court in DC , actually probably not neutral, I am sure people will be rooting against them.

Wake had the refs in the first meeting...that's how it is in College Basketball. Top teams like Duke get the calls at home.
