I agree. I don't know anything about politics, but +618...why not? I've made crazier or less-informed bets. Actually, I may take a shot at 'other' +6000.

+618 is terrible. You can easily get +780 at Matchbook and that's not even enough.

Sekrah, most of these books are offering 'other result' at like +6500.
I'm not even sure what 'pther' could be (besides a tie, of course), but it's tempting. I wonder, though, is it even possible for an election to end in a tie?

No, in the event of a tie in electoral votes(269-269), the House of Representatives votes for President and the Senate votes for Vice President.
In other words, a tie is still a win for Obama.
