Why is the General topic forum so much better at MW?

I dont even have an account at MajorWager but in every facet it seems more... i dont know, vibrant and dirty... is this forum over-moderated?

unstoppable, not sure what you mean... I like MW also but the RX offshore is EXTREMELY busy all the time with topics ranging from all sides....It is awesome IMO. I guess everyone will have there own opinion

Sure. The Rx... Its busy. With "list" topics and other such flotsam and jetsam, but go take a peek at the activity and diversity on the first page of the MW forum. Notice a bit of a difference. Sure there is some obligatury back-biting and just nasty threads... but many more with meat. Something this forum lacks. Im completely impartial in this and MW is winning hands down in getting my eyeballs over the last 2 weeks since I have been flopping to and fro twixt.

Anyway I would like to get the opinion of those who actively post at both forums. Hell. Maybe im just psycho.

I prefer the RX forum. There's a lot more useful information here. MW's forum, while interesting, has more of an "Enquirer" feel. Entertaining, but not as useful.

Wow. Pretty lame they moved this thread here instead of discussing the reasons and failings of the Rx general forum in an open and public forum.

Rx is a far superrior forum, the mods here like Wil and Fish are much better than people like Total sq, and the puppet Minnow. 90% of the Posters here love shrink, it is probably 10% that like russ at MW. You can count the talented handicappers at MW on 1 hand, here we have geniusus like PPEter in arena football. People like myself,Pitbull,lowtide that are always around 60% or better in college hoops.

Sorry, Rail, but you're not hitting 60% in college hoops this year, even with the great numbers you always seem to get. I believe your last total was at 55%, which is still good, but not the "over 60%" you were boasting about early in the season.
