With all the negativity about this book this has always puzzled me. I know others have asked this as well, but I have never seen a response by Shrink or the mods. No book that has this much bad press deserves to be recommended. 4-6 weeks to get paid....hardly worth a recommedation.

You're right about one thing it has sure been kicked around quite a bit. Not to pass the buck but will throw this in Shrink's inbox. The catch here is they usually end up paying don't they? I may be mistaken on that but the argument for them is it's usually more so piss poor customer service than them being stiffs. They hate to pay out but usually after taking their time and causing as much aggravation as they can you get your money. Or so I am led to believe. Anyway we have no alliance to these people and if it's decided by the powers that be they are best off the list it will be done. Thanks for calling it to our attention, will post on it in the boardroom for Ken.

They may pay in the long run, but the timeframes are WAY out of wack. I would be pissed off if I was recommended to a book, won some money, and then waited 6 weeks for my cash. Also, the stunts they pull in regards to grading wagers is ridiculous. Not meaning to stir the pot, but this is something the rx should look into.

Personally have never had much problem with SIA. Just took out a small Neteller last week, and it was processed within 24 hours. Customer Service is rock-bottom however.

SIA is definitely a "buyer-beware" book, but since they are under Canadian regulations, it seems to me that they are at least a little safer than the CR shops (maybe I'm wrong here though).

For those of us still allowed to play there, it represents a risk-reward scenario. The lines are so good that it is well worth the small (IMO) risk of not getting paid. I do however keep my balance there quite low and make withdrawals as necessary to keep my risk level comfortable.

Peteep, you aren't stirring the pot. We like to hear what people have to say. This is pretty common, we have one big example of apparent gross negligence on something but then there a lot of people coming in to say they like the place. With their dog prices it's one of those risk/reward type of things. Will be quiet a while without a problem and then another big case will pop up. These are one of those tweener books I guess, some think they are great and some hate them with a passion. Anyway let's see what others have to say, it is posted in the back now for further discussion there as well.

Drunkguy is right on the money. It is always (or at least it SHOULD be) a risk-reward decision for someone who decides to try ANY book - not just SIA. Even Pinny and Oly have risks. SIA has a higher risk, in some peoples eyes, but there is no denying they are definitely a higher potential reward. Many of us could lose every penny we got in there right now and still come out ahead lifetime.

Pat I know you're forwarding this to Ken but I also remember EWinner being taken down on the cusp of one so called slowpay at the time, what makes this any different? Wasn't Shrink the one that said something like "We will not tolerate Slowpays" Seems like alot of tolerating is happening here.

I would think that RECOMMENDED means, solid book and will pay on time all the time.

I think this book gets a bad rap. They are easy to win at. I never had problems getting money thru neteller from them. One day (I had 7000 at SIA and called up the website and it said balance 0) I called them up and they said they were cutting me off and had sent all my money to neteller and sure enough they did. I think its a good book to win at and wish I was still there.

Personally, don't think they have done anything different lately than they have ever done.

as always in this industry "bettor beware".

I will be with them until they boot me though

SIA is a SHIT book that makes you wonder how they stay in business. Customer service "rock bottom" as one poster puts it, stall pay the norm, cancelling winning bets, makes this an avoid book.

Patrick,

Is simply the way in which they handled the IwinorIdie saga not enough to put this book on any black list?

This is pretty common, we have one big example of apparent gross negligence on something but then there a lot of people coming in to say they like the place.
Those that like the place are being paid by those that get stiffed! More books work like this!
