Why is Peyton vs Brady argument so polarizing? And I guess the real question I'm asking is why do we Hate One and Love the other... It's a rarity that someone really loves both of them, and just about every football fan has a strong opinion on who is better...

Because Manning redefined the game and has all the records while all the Pats fans will talk about rings as if it was singlehandledly Brady that got those. They could have 6 or 0. FG attempt here or there, fluke interception, tuck rule, etc.

Peyton Manning is no Ryan Tannehill but he has had a decent career.

Because we live in a polarized era where emotion often trumps facts and reason.

Two of the GOATs, no question about it.

They are both great. But I think Brady benefits more of playing with Belichick. I would love to have BB head coach of Indy. He has thrown some looks I have never seen.

i guess that's my point of the thread--- they are 2 of the greatest of all time, but one side always trashes the other (me included!) and it just seems strange. I don't think we'd see this in other sports

I hear ya....imagine the records Brady would have if he had all the Hall of Famers around him that Manning has had.

2007 is the closest Brady has had and his numbers are pretty impressive from that year.

Told you. You will here that all day from the Brady people as if he did all on his own. Compare the Pats D to the Colts D during the Manning years

I am hardly delusional. Manning has completely changed the game. Yeah, yeah. 1 SB and 2 other sb appearances. Wee wee, Brady has 4 rings. That is all they will ever say. "It's all about winning, not records". That is their #2 response and #3 response is something about his forehead.

Manning made Harrison. Notice how no one ever heard of Dallas Clark once he left. Brady made guys too but thats a bs argument. Great qb's can make decent wr's look better. Look at Eric Decker. He sucks. How about Brandon Stokely. Stokely caught over 1,000 yards a year or 2. Where else would he do that?

Not to be biased but Wes Welker; what is he really without Manning or Brady? I never heard of him when he played for the Dolphins

Defying why don't you tell us why you find the issue so polarizing and take such an extreme opinion that is counter to logic?

AKA why are you a huge Manning fan boy and Brady detractor

Mark me down as a fool. Truth is they are both old and hardly throw the ball down the field anymore but Brady has better coaching so looks better in doing it.

Brady's looks better doing it because his arm is a lot better

anytime there are 2 all time greats playing at the sametime and not far apart in prime years there will always be something to debate
