He is unbelievable so why is it always LeBron or Kobe? Doesn't Wade deserve to be in those conversations about who the best player in the league is? What he did tonight was just ridiculous, dare I say it, Kobe like. League's leading scorer, he is the Heat and the reason why they are in the running for the playoffs. He reminds of what Kobe was to the Lakers after Shaq left. Average supporting cast and he carries that team. Wade could easily be MVP this season IMHO.

Top 3 players in the league, without a doubt. With Chris Paul and Dwight Howard right there...But Kobe, Lebron, and Wade are in a class of their own, for sure. Lucky for their fans. Damn, I miss Jordan...

Kobe is by far the best in the NBA. he has no weakness. hes a much better defender than lebron and wade, he shoots a solid percentage, hits his free throws, can knock down 3s. lebron is not a consistent outside shooter at all, terrible 3 point shooter. and kobe's will to win is the best in the league, it is jordan like. wade's will to win is almost up there with kobe, and is better than lebron's will to win. i question lebron's effort sometimes. he can score 60 night in and night out if he wanted to, but seems to take it easy on some plays. kobe is the best, lebron is #2, wade is 3, paul is 4, howard is 5, durant 6

I'll take D Wade all day. He's 1st in scoring, 9th in assists, 20th in blocks (he's a guard), and 3rd in steals. Best all around player in the league. He should easily at least be mentioned with Kobe and Lebron in the MVP talks but because the Heat aren't a serious title contender he gets overshadowed.

I think he is and has been talked about with Kobe and Lebron.
The reason he is just a tick behind them, in my opinion, is because the other two are more physically imposing. Just bigger men. I guess you could even say it's harder for Wade to do what he does due to him not having the same size.

the funny thing about your comment about his play last night was that it was "Kobe like", fact is Kobe does it on a daily basis...Lebron takes over on a daily basis...Wade does it one night and you want to crown him? He's a great player and will be recognized as such, but he's NO Kobe or Lebron.

I agree with the question.

Wade is just as good or better when healthy.

I would still take Kobe over the 3,
All 3 have the talent but only Kobe has the heart & killer instinct like Jordan did....

This is pretty ridiculous. Wade does dominate on a daily basis. He's leading the league in scoring and the Heat are only in playoff contention because of him. Read my earlier post about where he ranks in the statistical categories for the entire league. And I have to disagree that he doesn't have the killer instinct. How quick the 2006 Finals are forgotten where Wade just about single-handedly beat the Mavericks.

Here's Wade's stats since the all-star break:
2/28 - 46pts, 10ast, 8reb, 4stl, 3blk
2/27 - 21pts, 10ast, 2reb, 3stl, 1 blk
2/24 - 31pts, 16ast, 7reb
2/22 - 50pts, 5ast, 5reb, 1stl, 1blk
2/21 - 25pts, 9ast, 4reb, 2stl, 3blk
2/18 - 37pts, 12ast, 4reb, 4stl, 1blk

If that isn't bringing it on a daily basis what is?

kobe is the best, but wade is up there.

i think a lot of people have some stigma in there head that wade is only good because the refs give him calls sometimes.

How soon we forget the NBA title was gifted to Wade, Shaq and the Heat with highly suspect refereeing late in those games. I assume another David Stern fix was in. Guy loves to ensure the sexy team prevails.

Tim Duncan / David Robinson combo doesn't hurt does it?

And can you elaborate on my "constant whining"? What the heck are you talking about? This is my second post in my 3500+ posts here bringing up David Stern and his imo obvious game fixing.

Nice to see you pay attention to my posts though, just try to improve your memory a little, ok? thanks. lol

going back to my original post which everyone decided to ignore, honest rob will you please like to fill us in on who is leading the league in overall turnovers? not trying to be mean, just stating the obvious. in your defense though, wade does have a better turnover to assist ratio than kobe
