Why Is Carolina Favored At New Orleans?

I figured the game would be a "pick". Carolina has had the better year, New orleans at home, Carolina nothing to play for (locked in to #2 seed, New Orleans I don't believe can get in) ~ so why is Carolina favored?
Or did I miss something when evaluating the game?

They're not locked in as the #2 seed. Atlanta wins the division with a win and Carolina loss

I don't care what Carolina has to play for, this is one of the worst lines i have seen all season. New Orleans should be -3 here playing at home.

Could it be that car. is a 11-4 Team and NO is a 8-7 Team
and Carolina won back in Oct. By 23 points :think2:

As far as Carolina beating New Orleans earlier I honestly threw that result out just because Carolina at home has been strong but not so much on the road.

You missed something while evaluating.Carolina does have something to play for,the # 2 seed a first round bye,NO has nothing to play for.This is now the most important game of the year for Carolina.

Thanks to all for all of the info and analysis. I'll pass the game. I had Carolina rated better but made it a "pick" (my line) and figured I was missing an injury or the Saints playing the second stringers or something like that.
