Aint that the truth. In the last week alone I have lost games where I broke on top by 2,3, and 4 runs. I swear, I feel better coming from behind as dumb as that sounds.
Your reasons are the reasons why I prefer to play totals rather than sides. A passed ball or a dropped ball leads to a team winning in the ninth which normally should have lost if you went by the numbers. Or else a pitcher with a 1.10 ERA the last 3 games gives up 7 runs in the first 2 innings.
If you have an over you can win by having only one team get hot. Sides by definition take both team's scores into account and therefore take more variables into account.

big game-i wasn't directing at you, i dont really ever say any method or system is better than any other-who knows. what i'm saying is dont whine about teams sucking or other cappers needing to fade etc... especially in the 1st
because ultimately it is your own decision
