This is not a poll, it is how people are wagering. The favorite is Bush, because the gamblers, not the people being polled, are picking Bush to win.
Even you should see the difference in that.

Sonny,
Try not to confuse the Arians with logical assertions.

They are better equipped to deal with fiction.

Oh I don't know, it seems Webster thinks a "poll" is a "methodolgy for determining the general opinion on an election". I submit that by betting on one side or the other is a pretty reliable way of assessing the publics general opinion of an event too! Also, polls are historically extremely unreliable (remember 2002 when the polls in Fld. had Jeb in a dead heat and he won in a landslide).

But hey, you Libs hang in there with your "war hero" and we'll see what the final poll shows!

The latest Gallop poll shows Bush up 50-47...not sure why this is bad news for Bush but I'm sure you'll spin it some strange way.

GALLUP NEWS SERVICE

PRINCETON, NJ -- A new Gallup Poll shows a slight improvement in President George W. Bush's overall job approval rating, while the presidential contest remains essentially unchanged. In a two-way contest with Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, Bush enjoys a slight lead among likely voters, 50% to 47%, little changed from the 51% to 47% lead he enjoyed in a July 30-Aug. 1 poll.
