Why can't books just mail me a check?

2 books said Moneygrams were the only form of withdrawal they are offering. Requested $900 until I found out it cost $75. Just mail me a check please.

Too risky to send regular mail from 3rd world cuntries.

A check by Fedex should be offered & cost much less.

Banks usually charge for foriegn checks I believe. They also take forever to clear.

I was going to withdraw some $ by check from VIP.com. It's in the Dutch Antilles (Curacao). So would I likely be better off having the withdrawal sent to me via the "Direct Cash" option (seems similar to W.U., just a different name for W.U.?), rather than deal with waiting many weeks for the check to clear, and rather than paying the bank extra fees? And is it also very possible the bank (it's a major bank) could refuse to process the check nowadays? Anybody have an opinion about which is the best option? Thanks

Request a ck by fed ex and pay the fee......obviously you gamble, the fee is part of doing business

I get one free withdrawl per month via fed ex from Linesmaker. Once a month is enough for me.

I just got a my check today from VIP (small amount, under $1k) regular mail. It was requested Feb 24.

It was mailed from New York with a European account.

The Greek mails my cks. reg. mail, takes 15 bus. days and cost $10. Comes from a bank in Canada. OK by me.
