How bout this comment by Junior today?

Informed by a reporter of Arafat’s death, Bush declared Thursday: God rest his soul. We will go on working to establish a free Palestinian state that will work with Israel to achieve peace

I love it! A "free Palestinian state" ????? ... for being "Reborn" again Bush is clueless ....

BOL .... we are gonna need it ... yeah, giving up land for peace is gonna work????

Armageddon isn't all bad.....you can pick up some real estate real cheap afterwards, if you can handle a little bit of radioactivity....

doc

what in the sam hell are you afraid of???? the economy is growing at a clip slightly stronger than clinton's BEST year, we haven't had a terrorist attack here since 9/11 -- had several prior to bush's first four years, unemployment is .10% lower than it ever was under clinton, gdp and gnp are up, significantly!!! production is at the highest in the country's history!!!more of the same in the next four years!!!

and don't give me the standard bs -- deficit, oil prices, outsourcing sh*t!!

Interesting assertion Hansen, but a flat out lie on the economy. Stop listening to the spin too much, you might miss the truth. For the record here you go, GDP growth straight from the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Pay attention to the 2nd columns, it has the data chained to 2000 dollars, which essentially wipes out the non-comparitive effects of inflationary periods:

1992 5.7 3.3
1993 5.0 2.7
1994 6.2 4.0
1995 4.6 2.5
1996 5.7 3.7
1997 6.2 4.5
1998 5.3 4.2
1999 6.0 4.5
2000 5.9 3.7
2001 3.2 0.8
2002 3.5 1.9
2003 4.9 3.0

Here is another lie "unemployment is .10% lower than it ever was under clinton". Here is the data to prove you are a flat out liar on that one as well, from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, with the annual average unemployment rate. Right now we stand at 5.4%:

1992 7.5
1993 6.9
1994 6.1
1995 5.6
1996 5.4
1997 4.9
1998 4.5
1999 4.2
2000 4.0
2001 4.7
2002 5.8
2003 6.0

And talk about misleading, production is the highest in history of course. If it weren't that would mean "W" had been the first modern president to oversee an economy that contracted during his Presidency. That would really suck, but fortunately he hasn't quite seen it that bad. I can pretty much assure you production in the vast majority of years under any President will be higher than the year before.

I just love how you tell more lies than truths but call us the negative people...
