Lets see, the RR opposes stem cell research, Roe vs Wade, sex education. Wants Intelligent design treated as a fact not a faith based phenomenon, prayer in schools and other public functions.
Some of us support a womans right to choose - within limits and with certain limitations.
Some of us agree that stem cell research might be an option - but we want something besides rhetoric that it is a viable option - right now, it's nothing but a nerf bat to beat the right with.
Sex education is an option that most agree should be taught - noit a "how to have sex" course, and don't forget these rubbers on your way out - and if mommy and daddy won't allow you to get the pill, let us know, we'll get it for you. Sex education should teach about disease, babies and abstinence and leave decisions up to mommy and daddy.
ID has not been disproven. It is just as viable a theory as survival of the fittest - and some think the two added together complete the theory of evolution. It seems to me that the left are being reactionary on this subject.
The right isn't insisting on forcing prayer on anyone - but everyone should have the right for a moment of silent reflection or prayer - it is again the left that has a reactionary agenda on this subject.
Overall, the left is also a reactionary force in these debates insisting as strongly as the far right that it be their way or the highway.
