The world was horrified on Monday to see yet another possible terror attack strike Europe, this time in Germany. A truck plowed into a crowd of people at a Christmas market in Berlin, killing 12 and injuring dozens more.
As of Tuesday morning, details about the attack were still fuzzy. Police were almost entirely sure the attack was deliberate, but they were not sure if they had the right suspect in custody. What was sure, however, was that German Prime Minster Angela Merkel was in trouble, the U.K. Sun reported.
Merkel has taken flak from the right in Germany for a while now because of her immigration policies. Now it is looking possible that an immigrant may have been behind the attack — an attack that occurred while Merkel was at a celebration for the International Day of Migrants.

This is possibly one of the worst timings that any politician has experienced in a while. The German Prime Minister was at an event celebrating migrants on the same day that someone who may have been a migrant rammed into a crowd of Germans, killing and maiming dozens.
That’s not something a normal politician can recover from.
CNN noted that there was still a large amount of confusion over the attack. Authorities weren’t sure if there was one attacker or more, or even if the person they had in custody (an asylum seeker from Pakistan) was connected to the attack in any way.

Germany has not yet seen a mass-casualty terror attack, but several smaller failed attacks have worried the population, Fox News reported.
If this attack was indeed carried out by a refugee, then Merkel’s political career may be dead. The German people are fed up with the influx of refugees that have poured into their country over the past few years.
A major attack carried out by a refugee likely would make them turn against Merkel even more, and elect someone who would take a more hard-line approach to the issue of refugees.
This is a developing situation, and we will be sure to bring you more details as they unfold in the coming days and weeks.

Two peas in a pod, both probably equally inadequate!
However Obama is by far the worst US leader ever
while Merkel is only the 2nd worst German head of state.
Obama a slight edge!

Merkel by leaps and bounds - they literally rape the women in public in Munich and she thinks it's a good idea to openly invite them to live in Germany

Cologne Attacks: German Women Respond By Handing Out Flowers To Refugees

German women handed out flowers to refugees across the country to protest against violence, in light of the Cologne New Year’s Day attacks.

This comes after attacks in Cologne where some 90 women claimed to have been sexually assaulted, and some raped.

After the incident, it was widely claimed that the perpetrators were refugees from “the Arab or North African region”.

Who's worse? That's a tough one.

Merkel started off with making all the right moves but then she fell asleep at the wheel.
Her immigration policy being her biggest blunder.

Obama on the other hand started off with making all the wrong moves
and never woke up. Fortunately he is history while she is still in power.

IMHO they are both bad with a slight edge to Obama with Merkel still
having a chance to surpass him.

If you throw Trump in you could hit the trifecta of misguided politicians.
Trump doesn't have a clue. Yeah right!

Shanghai (AFP) - A Chinese auto glass tycoon has caused a stir by shifting
part of his empire to the United States and setting up a factory in Ohio,
citing high taxes and soaring labour costs at home.

Cao Dewang's $600-million investment comes after Donald Trump threatened
to declare Beijing a currency manipulator and slap 45 percent punitive
tariffs on Chinese imports to protect American jobs.

Ironic eh? And he's not even in office yet.

Time to break out the Tums Mantis.

Merkel is your typical RINO Bush-McCain-Romney Republican - her energy and immigration policies will cripple Germany for decades to come.

Hussein is a Marxist. Without the current constitutional checks and balances, the USA would be Venezuela 2.0.

Who is worse?

When the Washington Compost advises Angela Merkel:

The question, then, for all Germans, starting with Chancellor Angela Merkel, is how to make sure today’s terrorists meet the same defeat that the Red Army Faction met during the 1970s. The first step, as Ms. Merkel had begun to recognize already in response to previous violent incidents, is to address the weaknesses of her open-door policy toward asylum seekers from the Middle East and elsewhere. This brought more than a million newcomers to the country last year amid abundant, almost giddy voluntary aid from many Germans — before the mood soured amid organizational chaos and well-publicized criminal acts by some newcomers.

Ms. Merkel’s response to the refugee crisis was admirable, but sustainability, especially political sustainability, of the policy must now be the objective. That means better, swifter screening of migrants, better integration of those who qualify to stay as refugees and the removal of those who lack an authentic asylum claim. Germany may need a more general attitude adjustment toward security; due to privacy concerns, for example, it has been slower than the United States and United Kingdom to adopt video surveillance of public spaces.

This is absolutely laughable.
