the Citadel :icon_conf, Tennessee???, Auburn:lolBIG:, Ole Miss(who they lost against), The U (Miami) :think2:, LSU :nohead:, Vanderbilt :nono5:, Ketucky :ohno:, South Carolina :missingte, even Georgia and Alabama are nothing to write home about offensively

Look, I'll I'm saying is that everyone and their mother is saying how is Oklahoma's "pathetic" big 12 defense going to stop Florida's offense.

I think the better question is how will Florida's defense stop Bob Stoops and company's offense, the likes of which Florida hasn't seen all year. Unless you'd like to argue that the teams listed are legitimate offenses, let's not kid ourselves. :lolBIG: Auburn, Tennessee, Citadel????

Let's look at the defenses the Sooners faced:
Chattanooga :missingte
Cincinnati :nono5:
Washington :lolBIG:
TCU
defense is ranked so high due to 9 soft games.
Baylor :WTF:
Texas
overrated and not comparable to Florida's
Kansas
Kansas St. :think2:
Nebraska :ohno:
Texas A&M :nohead:
Texas Tech :nono5:
(don't try to give the #2 team in the nation argument)
Oklahoma St. :hahahahah
and

MISSOURI :lolBIG: my grandmother could pass on them for 220 yds

You're welcome for the knowledge! %^_

Laugh all you want, but UFs defense is legit. UF is holding teams to about 25% of their normal scoring (Box posted it exactly). No matter what you think about a team's offensive output, that is pretty successful defense. Say what you will about UGA and LSU - they still put points on the board and UF shut them both down.

The question you should be asking is how good is OU's offense considering the shit they consider defense in the big 12? When the #8 offense in the Big12 is putting up 33ppg you have to question WTF is going on over there.

I live in Dallas, so Ive seen plenty of big12 football this year. Texas is the only team that can even pretend to play any defense and their secondary is crap. If you think OU will look like they did against Mizz against UF then you are in for a very harsh and very rude awakening. Mizzou couldn't tackle, couldn't block, couldn't do pretty much anything. It was a humiliating performance on defense. OU will see the fastest, most physical defense they have seen in a long time. And yes, UF will see the best O they have seen, but let's not forget that they see the #3 scoring offense EVERY DAY in practice and it is structured quite similarly to OU. So, who has the tougher prep work? UF or OU? This isn't even getting into the fact that the Sooners are catching a huge break with all of this coaching mess.

The same goes for OU and who is the best defense they played all year.

Funny enough it might have been TCU.

I agree with you, but the other question, which i raised, hasn't been addressed at all.

Oh I agree with you on your question. That's what makes the total so hard to cap IMO. You don't know for certain how OU's offense is going to do against the top of the line team speed of the UF defense.

This game will go well under the total.

Under is a strong bet here and so is the Sooners imo. I really can't see Florida scoring much more than 30 here, and think they could easily go under 30. I think we're maybe a 31-24 type of game here believe it or not. OU has the better offense though and I trust them more than Florida.

And before people just laugh it off you could easily argue TCU has a better defense than Florida. It doesn't surprise me that Florida fans would laugh that off though..

UM, UGA could move the ball on ANY defense OU has played all year.

If Miami Fla plays TCU 10 times they struggle to average over 20 ppg. TCU could easily contain Miami, and Texas could also but they played a fast paced game with a lot of possessions so they would avg more vs Texas.

WTF are you talking about? I said Georgia! Stafford would throw for over 300 yards against TCU, TCU would not contain them at all!

You pinhead Florida fan. TCU would absolutely contain Georgia, and any other team. And yes their the only team that plays defense in America. Write it down!
