not easier persay, a long layoff before the games, but the motivation seems to be the key factor since some teams are mad they are in the bowl they are in...

look for penn state not to cover their bowl game.
ND sucks in bowl games.
SEC teams should do well, they are the elite some would say.
First time bowlers are psyched for the game.

I think GoSooners lost only 3 or 4 bowl games last year. He won about 20, maybe more.

Penn State is easily one of the best bowl teams out there. They are 12-2 in their last 14 bowl games. I know they have covered a vast majority of those as well.
