Neither. Don't see Mc Cain winning but would never lay that price on Obama. I may take some Mc Cain with the intention of looking for a middle when price drops on Obama. Perhaps after the Republican convention. However I would need better than +175. Anyone see what Pinny is using?

I had a semi-lengthy post typed out but I think JW said it perfect.

Hey, if the election was held right now? I would bet Mccain.

But there are so many other factors about to come into play, such as the VP nom and the convention (as Judge has pointed out.). And also, Obama has not really flexed his campaign money yet.

Picking the right running mates may be the single most important issue in this Presidential campaign. I'm not sure either of these two candidates are strong enough to carry an election on their own..Personally, I'm going to wait until the VP is chosen for both parties before I lay down any bet. However, if you believe that the young voters and the blacks are going to come out in droves for this election to vote for Obama no matter who he chooses, then I think the best time to bet Obama would be after the Republican convention when McCain and his new VP will be the center of the attention. This could be the best window of opportunity to be on Obama. And vice-versa..The best time to bet McCain could be after the Democratic convention. I believe the prices WILL change on these candidates.

The value now would be McCain, but what's value if the bet loses, eh?

The polls do not support the wide lines, so there's a lot of speculation built into the action so far.

McCain is dead money literally. Who's going to vote for a hothead bigot? Once Obama picks the female governor, game over

I already got McCain at +260 with dsi, Matchbook has Obama at -218. I am in scalp territory already. Staying put right now will scalp bet later as BO's popularity tends downward! A few more flip-flops and his oil policy folly should do it.

It is currently being perceived as a virtual draw. That's just the way the game is played, in reality it is closer to 55/45 OBAMA.

Obama wins because Americans show that they are capable of voting a gnat in.....................Obama is a roach.

BUT a curiosity is that is if The Gasoline Pump price drop down noticably in September and October, that can change things in favor of McCain.

Also I heard Former Mayor Ed Koch say on radio Saturday that Obama will pay and pay dearly for his RACE CARD TACTICS......

If somehow also that the country goes on an elevated high terror alert in October, That will be the end of Obama.

Don't forget Obama was losing ground with Clinton and the finish line couldn't get their fast enough.

Obama down to -200 now at 5Dimes. Anyone having big money on McCain +250 or above has a good scalp this minute. I'm waiting this thing is going down much closer to even money!

Obama wins, polls don't tell the whole story. They poll people who still have landlines, which means older people, most young have cell phones and are not polled.
