Who Would be the Top-Five Rx Posters You'd like to meet...Face-to-Face

I realize there are many that bring keen insight and knowledge to the Forum but there are some that also have personality and character that would lend to the conversation. Here goes my list of current (active) contributors (not in any particular order) with reasons why (Optional).

Note: This is NOT a popularity contest nor should there be any consideration given for motives for retribution or retaliation.

1. Roll Tide: Razor-sharp insight, extremely knowledgeable especially with facts, been around a long-time (Goldwater 64....enough said).
2. Conan: Very articulate with great writing skills, good instincts; His W-L record (against the spread) is reason enough.
3. Russ-45: Any man that remembers the good basketball teams at Oklahoma City University back in the 60 & 70's makes my list.
4. JB-Longhorn: He might bring some of his Lady-Friends with him and I would get to meet them.
5. Silver-7: He is my contemporary, followed the "Golden Gophers" when they had great football teams (Paul Geil-everybody's All-American).

There are many more; That will have to wait until the Rx Forum holds a re-union in Las Vegas. Wouldn't that be something ? ^!:

I, too, would like to meet a character like him, just to see where a schizophrenic-mind like his coming-from. Plus, with all his money, maybe he'd buy lunch.
The one-thing I would have a concern about him.....he appears to have a "mean-streak" in him.

"Ol Ballerhanz" lives in Chicago.....a lot of insecurity arises when you live there....People won't walk the streets after sundown on the south side, the
drive-by shooting capital of the western hemisphere. Look what it's done to the Chicago Cubs....the last time they were in the World Series was back
in 1945 (lost to the Tigers). Talk about insecurity.........It's sad because most of the people who live in the "Windy City" are decent and God-fearing.
It's the undesirable few that make it look bad for everyone else....why do you think "Ol ballerhanz" wants to leave..

I have never met the Junkman....but have known him for several years at a couple of forums and have always exchange football thoughts with him with ZERO problems. I do know from my dealings with Junk that he loves college football and will stir the pot to the boiling point when necessary.

Over the line here at times...probably...not my call. Keeping an edge going on with interest in RX CFB, yep...Good, Bad, or just Awful and in my opinion, that was his goal.

I've been under the bus here at RX and Junk piled on.....I can't do that......like to have the guy back.

I'm no psyco-analyst but I saw the "shit and skit" act...(i.e. Jekyll & Hyde) in Junk's posts many times...... others did, as well. His M.O. was to stir-the-pot and aggravate the living hell out-of many of the Rx posters and then make claims of his high-rolling (big money) bets and how rich he was (a home in Palm Springs) and his ability "to-buy-and-sell" someone and then, to add insult to injury, he would threaten how he would have the living-shit kicked out of a poster at some mythical meeting-place if they continued to disagree with him. Then, when the opposing rage reached the boiling-point, he would back-off and compose (and pass-on) some legitimate jnfo/comments pertaining to college football......No question about-it.....he did follow the game or, at least, he read-up on it.

"Ol Junker" is no dummy.....however, I doubt that he is a serious gambler that wagers on sports......He just has a peculiar hobby/pass-time who loves to play mind-games with other people which is where he gets his "kicks & jollies". I too, would like to have him back.........for entertainment purposes only.

I have been betting sports for 40 years and I am very good at cappin' the horses and very good and at times just pure Lucky at Craps. played and won BIG in Atlantic City many times since 1978 when they 1st opened. I play horses and Craps and some poker at Delaware Park Casino Racetrack and Golf Course !!! They have a Great Thorobred Horse track that opened in 1937 and a Great links style Golf course that costs about $100 a round during weekends...its worth the money...great clubhouse with great food drinks and Live Music during summer...anyone who lives anywhere near Harrahs Philly Casino, or Atlantic City, or Sugar House casino on Delaware river, and u want to meet to drink and gamble , let me know...would be honored to buy a few rounds and win some money.
Lets try and set up a Las Vegas Trip..we could get sponsors, and group discounts on hotels, and food ,golf etc...I could bring 5K just to gamble with...If they can give us some free rooms and food and drinks...or at least a decent discount for our 1st year...I can do some research, and if we go EVERY year, we can get out trip for Free...You just need to have about 5 K per person, that they are willing to RISK...a 3 to 5 day trip would be awesome. I am Retired and going to see what I can find out...
I used to know some high rollers and had access to decent Casino Hosts in Atlantic City...maybe I can try to set up a small trip with some good friends and Family in AC to start , and go from there. I have gotten many Free rooms and comps for food and drinks in AC...tough to get on weekends and in the summer and on Holidays. But I will try.

I suspected, when I read your posts, that you've "been around the block" a few times "Franko"; I too, go back 40 plus years (well before the internet) and survived the "hazards" of sports-betting...."I still own the farm" (ha). Your thoughts and ideas regarding a Las Vegas get-together are great. I fully understand the perils that we are protected from through the anonymity of the internet but I still sense that there are some great (stand-up) guys that contribute in this forum that know what they are talking-about (I) only mentioned a few in this thread.
