It is hard to see the Browns signing Hoyer to a longer term contract, so may as well see what Johnny can do.

What was the rumor going around ?? something about Hoyer saying if Johnny was on next years roster he wouldn't sign with the Browns..

He doesn't have enough positive rep to have that attitude.

If he said that, he may be making a big mistake.

Maybe the JETS will take Johnny Football and Jamies next season. They should be able to get Winston with thier high pick and maybe trade rounds 2-6 for Manziel

Hoyer is above average, hes just not flashy. They are a game out of the playoffs, changing qbs would be a big mistake

I'll give him average but I don't think the sample size or his performance so far put him into the "above average" category.

Nothing about his performance over the last 5-6 weeks would suggest he is a starting NFL QB. The best argument for sticking with Hoyer is that he hasn't really gotten a fair shake. Cameron has been hurt all year with his concussion and Gordon was suspended. Without those 2 that team has some of the worst offensive talent in the NFL.
