Bowling Green/Georgia Southern over 64.5

This number will likely go up so grab it while you can. Why posting early.

Thanks for the early post, Kojak! :toast:

I jumped on the OVER 64.5 as you advised. Since you've made this a 2X Who Luvs You (WLY) play, I went 2X my unit amount.

Quick couple of questions.

1. I forget what monetary value you place on a single (1X) WLY Play. I know you've posted this before. How much is that? Since this is a 2X WLY, I assume this is one of the biggest ones you've done this college football season?

2. When handicapping a totals play, I assume you take into account the weather at the venue? That would be elementary of course.

I looked at Wednesday 23rd's weather for Mobile, Alabama where the Go Daddy Bowl is being played (Ladd-Peebles Stadium). Apparently, there's some potentially very nasty weather possible in store for the game.

Here's local Mobile television station WKRB's forecast for Wednesday 23rd.

http://wkrg.com/2015/04/20/todays-mobile-weather-forecast-outlook/

Do you think wet weather favors the offense? I'm think so, since the players know their routes while the defense may slip and slide while covering them.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to a LOT of points being scored in this game!

My score prediction?

It never ceases to amaze me how certain members of the Rx react so negatively when I attempt to engage in a dialogue with Kojak (or any other OP for that matter) after plays have been posted.

If Kojak doesn't want to respond to what I've written, he won't. Chances are he will, since these are innocuous questions and observations. I'm gregarious and enjoy conversing with him. That's all. What's wrong with that? It's not about "signing a prenup" as your cavalier comment insinuates. It's about fostering a comradery here in the Rx community. To many of us, this is a virtual home of sorts where we come and enjoy each other's company as well exchanging picks and information. That's what makes the Rx so "special" and the premiere sports handicapping forum on the internet. Just because you don't like to exchange comments with him (Kojak) or any other OP once they've posted their plays, please don't project this personal abhorrence of your's on me. I'd appreciate that very much. Thanks!

Anyway, I have no beef with you. You've always been civil to me and others in the past. This is the holiday season, so let's focus on our common goal of "beating the man!"
Best of luck to you, Pstar, if you tail Kojak's 2X WLY Play like I am. :toast:

I've already put my 2 unit bet on the OVER 64.5 for the GoDaddy Bowl. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to buy out of my bet.

Most of the weather sites are saying there'll be less rain tonight for the game. That is, the showers won't be as severe, but there'll be rain for sure.

The local TV forecast states it will be raining during the game.

http://www.local15tv.com/weather/

In the forecast for tonight, the following statement:

Showers and storms remain in the forecast this evening and tonight and while we *may* see a break in the action between 7-10PM, I'd prepare for a soggy football game at Ladd-Peebles Stadium if your plans take you to the GoDaddy Bowl in Mobile.

Here's the National Weather Service Radar for Mobile, Alabama. You can check it often for up to date conditions.

How does wet weather affect the totals in a game? :think2:

As long as the wind isn't a factor, I think we should still have a legitimate chance for the OVER in this game.

It will most likely continue to drop. Mobile is under a flash flood warning as the state has been getting rain for 3 days. Good luck with your plays.

Edit:I see incubus has already touched on weather. Sorry to be redundant.

That may help Georgia Southern - Their 129 passing attempts for an FBS-low 742 yards - just over half the total Lewis pulled in on his own. That certainly doesn't mean the Eagles didn't move the ball. Their 4,267 rushing yards and 6.47 per carry both led the nation, and top back Matt Breida ran for 1,586 on a ridiculous 8.19 per rush.

I think most bettors overreact to bad weather. Temple game last night, they played in a steady rain all night but the fourth quarter was played in a complete downpour. They combined for 28 points in the fourth.

Stop harassing me with your stalking. Betallsports has warned you numerous times not to follow me into other people's threads for the sole purpose of making disparaging remarks targeting me.

My comments posted above are benign, and if Kojak doesn't want to respond, so be it. I only brought up a question regarding the valuation of his WLY Play as well as a weather concern for the GoDaddy Bowl game. These aren't out of line by any stretch of the imagination.

You're anti-social behavior is what drives people away from this site. Try getting along with people here. You'll see it'll do wonders in repairing your reputation.

All you do is follow me from thread to thread making belligerent and disparaging comments targeting me. That constitutes harassment under the Rx's posting guidelines. Knock it off before you earn a "vacation" from one of the Mods here. They don't look kindly to stalking.
