If Datsyuk's foot isn't broken and he ends up playing by game 2, then no question in my mind Detroit needs only 5 to wrap this up. If he's out it may go 7 but more likely 6. This will in no way be as close as last season. Last season the Pens had 3 world class forward plus Gonchar to work their PP. They have no one to replace Hossa and the Wings got better in ever facet of the game. From coaching right down to defensive depth. think about it. Detroit took out a very good Chicago team in 5 without Datsyuk and Lidstrom [2 games] and Draper. Don't fall for the hype. Detroit will blanket Crosby and Malkin just like last season. If not worse.
The Pens need all their stars to line up correctly just to have a shot. The Wings just need to play the game they play every night since the playoffs started but now they can smell blood.
No rookie coach is going to outsmart this outfit. Their simply just too good.

I really like the Wings.....of all the sports this is tough for me to be objective...because the fan in me wants to come out...While you make good points Bushay....There is NO WAY Datsyuk plays in game 2...if he cant go tonight (which he's not) ...theres no magic in 24 hrs...so your looking at game 3 at best...I personally think its worse than most are saying..I think its a slight fracture...Just my opinion.....+ I think the Pens learned a LOT from last year....experience killed them last year...it will help them this year...Plus there is a lot of Pens love as far as betting...something just seems fishy to me about this series...on paper the Wings should win this pretty easily....but as we know, games arent played on paper.....they are played inside television sets.....so Im gonna stick with The Wings...but it will be a 7 game classic! But I wouldnt be shocked if the Pens won this in 6....Id be disappointed....but not surprised....BOL fellas!

Go Wings!

Bushay you finally got out of bed. Nice writeup. I wonder how healthy
Gonchar & the rest of the Pens are.

Holiday weeks are a bitch in my business. Just walked in the door. And begin a weeks vacation as well. Didn't even realize it when I picked it. Couldnt have picked a better one.

P.S...I may be voicing some opinions this week. I'll be tough to get rid of.
