I am a class of '79 with Bill Bates. Played football with and against him thru middle school, sorry everyone out grew me in HS and I didn't play. A good guy and very religous, quiet a career he had and I doubted every year he would make the Cowboys the next year. Just goes to show how much heart has to do with it.

I played ball with Larry Hughes. I was in gym class and he was in "English" at the time. He is a few years older than me though.

Jeff Healey (blues guitarist) was in my HS graduating class in '85. I played cards with him and a few others at lunch hour almost every day for a year. My mother also tells me we were best friends in nursury school, but neither he nor I remember that. When his career took off in '86 it caught everyone by surprise. He was always down to earth, never let the fame get to him, and always had time for old friends.

No one really, but I guess it would be Jammi German, the DB who went to Miami and became a wide out who beat up a gay guy.

cool, I grew up in WC myself. From my experience on "the hill" locating a local should be easy. Check some local bars on opening week of football and just people watch.

I didn't graduate with anyone famous, but my wife went to high school with Tony Rice, the last QB to lead Notre Dame to a national championship.
