A lot of times these lobbyists give both sides and probably lean slightly to who they think are going to win.....Obama doesn't take lobbyist or PAC money (but he will take it from individuals of certain industries....) but in his Senate campaigns I'm pretty sure he did.

So to answer your question....the same corporations/lobbyists are in the same pockets. I remember working on a state level trying to get money from these lobbyist....you essentially got a flat amount regardless (to play both sides) and then had to pitch yourself to get the rest. A lot of reasons why internal polls are released (on house/senate level)...just to prove you're in the ball game. Corporations/Lobbyists want to be on the winning team.

There is a state that limits spending on a state level (Maine or Washington I think...maybe Oregon...one of them)...and it's state funded. Be interested to see if that state government is run any different when taking the money out of elections.

alright i understand that to be the case with a lot of the groups and corporations but i also understand that certain companies are going to throw 80%+ of their funds behind one candidate.

that is who i am concerned about.

Apart from all the contributors to one side or the other. BO owes his soul to the Chicago political machine. They made him what he is today.

I dont watch news that much and when i do i like to flip on fox news and watch that train wreck and let me tell you, they must have a kramer like button with these types of phrases on them. People need to stop watching opinion journalism because if your not smart enough to form your own logical opinion you look like an idiot barking out slogans with no substance. If you flip on any of these cable news channells and actually take information off of them and consider them to be true and then present them as such, you look like a fucking idiot. Dave, you seem like a bright guy actually, so do yourself a favor....open a book.
