If Oklahoma loses, Kansas State gets the automatic bid

OU still probably plays in the Sugar Bowl

IF you are in the top 6 in the BCS you get an automatic spot.

But each conference only can have 2 teams.

Kansas State (champion) OU at large so TEXAS which will be #5 will be in the top 6 but no BCS

Texas gets shut out of the BCS,

but also Oklahoma State loses, they were hoping for the Cotton Bowl, a New Year Day's bowl game for the program. Texas will take the Cotton

now they may drop pretty far, I think the Holiday Bowl takes Nebraska because of the guaranteed fans that will make the trip so the Cowboys may fall to the Alamo Bowl or Independence Bowl.

Oklahoma State is the true loser, New Year's Day Bowl (landmark for their program) to a minor bowl.

I heard some BCS guru saying that no matter what OU does this week they'll be in the Sugar. I see USC edging out LSU. But what do I know ???

ABC halftime now said that it is possible for OU to not be in the championship if they lose.
